We met my brother and his wife for a pre Christmas meal and have visited the restaurant once before and found it to be excellent. So this was our second visit and it certainly didn’t disappoint. It was every bit as good as I remembered it. The food was out of this world, with an excellent choice of dishes some of which I have never seen on other menus. It was all hot when we got it, with no excess oil on them, and so tasty that you wanted to have more. The service was great with nothing to much trouble it was friendly, efficient but non-intrusive. It was a Saturday evening so the restaurant was busy but you were served in good time. I really couldn’t recommend it enough.

Worst Indian food.Very Sweet Naan0 spice Sag paneer. When I asked to make it bit spicy, in my curry of 1 person 2 chillies were added. It was a very bad experience. Will not recommend anyone.Service was superslow and waiters/manager didn't bother if we like food or we need anything.

Very good indian(actually Bangladesh) on par with top tier in London. Super attentive service and nice ambiance. Extensive menu with some unique options. Garlic chilli was very good.

Not great at all. We both ordered the Meen Mole a £13 fish dish. It was from frozen, over cooked and dry. When mentioned to the waiter he said it was because “they wanted to get us our food quick as people complained about a wait for it before”. Not a suitable answer really. It was really substandard. Also was not that hot which is worrying regarding food safety standards. Also asked for a green salad and was all sliced tomato thick sliced onion and some ends of cucumber. We are local to Arundel, and tonight was a treat so very disappointed. Don’t bother going.

Ordered several times. Masala and Madras. Masala was nicely flavoured, with hints of coconut and the Madras was spot on in terms of heat.

Food was lovely, unfortunatly shame I can't say the same about the service !! Not very polite and that goes for all who was working on the 14th August . Shame as it was my birthday . The only reason given very good is because of the food .

Firstly the atmosphere in the restaurant and the service were fine. But the food was disappointing. We ordered potato cakes to start, but then had to send them back because they were still frozen in the middle. They were quickly replaced without fuss. But when we did eventually come to eat them they were rather bland. And the same goes for the main courses, plain tasting. I go to an Indian restaurant because hopefully there is an Indian chef who carefully blends fresh herbs and spices to produce a tasty meal. This was not the case at the India Gate. In my opinion the kitchen needs a bit of a review.

Whilst visiting Arundel, we found this brilliant restaurant. As well as all the favourites, the menu had a few surprises. Our meal was perfect. The decor was fantastic, and the background music was a treat. The staff were very busy but still very attentive, and found time for a chat. They're very lucky to have such a good chef. All in all a great experience. Thank-you.
