We had often driven past but today decided to go for lunch. Wow, what a place! Lovely interior and simply fabulous food. I had macaroni cheese and it was creamy and delicious. My husband had chicken from the specials menu and said the sauce was divine. But the chocolate brownie was to die for! The best I’ve eaten in years. Brilliant service too, and my husband who walks with two sticks was treated like royalty. 10/10!

Visited on the evening of November 29th. Warmly greeted by staff at the bar, then shown to our table by Emily who afforded us friendly service throughout the evening ??.. 2 of the party of 4 had never dined with you before & as such were ready to be tempted by the varied menu ?.. We all decided to go for 3 courses & it's safe to say, we all enjoyed everything that was placed in front of us. We plan to return in the not too distant future..??

Nice service, but food was poor. Battered cod was tasteless, garden peas, not mushy. I had an upset belly for two days after eating here.

We enjoyed a great Sunday lunch at this lovely pub. The menu offered excellent choices at reasonable prices. The food was of a really good quality. The service was also very good. We will definitely return.

We had a family meal here while out for a walk. Food came in a reasonable time and a decent size and price. Sometimes had difficulty catching the eye of staff.Draught beer and cider includes Stowford Press, Neck Oil and Proper Job which went down well.I had a halloumi burger which had a lovely amount of halloumi and it wasn't chewy but soft, great mix with pesto and peppers. Husband had steak and kidney suet pudding which was a favourite and the rest of the table had scampi (great big fat chips that were crispy and soft inside) and then mackerel pate and prawn cocktail (starters so they could justify dessert). The st Clements cheesecake was full of citrus but no orange and very creamy, otherwise didn't pack much flavourToilets clean and well looked after

Food and service are really great. Roasts were amazing. Really fancied coffee after the meal to be told only milk was available with no alternative. Just left two of us disappointed ?Please stock alternatives as this was a letdown after such a lovely experience.

Had a leisurely lunch and drinks at this pub. The location is great and the service was as it should be.' There was a good choice of beers and dink, as well as a varied menu. OUr food was really tasty. Look forward to returning

Great service from the whole team at the Bridge Inn. we were in Sussex for the motor racing at Goodwood. we had a meal & drinks on 3 occasions over the weekend. all the staff and the food was top quality. highly recommended. will be going again next year.

Have been to the Bridge Inn for dinner the last 3 days and it gas been the best meals out we have had in donkeys years. The food was first class. Always hot, served by very friendly and polite staff. They very helpful and accommodating. The Sunday roast was one of the best I have ever had out. Thank you all very much.
We ate here whilst visiting friends, and would like to say the food, staff and hosts were really friendly and helpful. Great menu, food was plentiful and very tasty. The place feels very homely and would certainly recommend

Happened across this pub on our random travels through the English countryside. Stopped in for lunch and we were really happy with the food and service. The drinks selection was excellent as well, so all in all, a great lunch stop - highly recommended.

Great pub. Turned up late on Sunday lunchtime and they still had space, even came and offered us space inside, as it was a bit miserable outside but we wanted the fresh air. Great food and service. Lovely inside too.
