This has now become our favourite local takeaway. Food is wonderful, amazing flavours with a healthy kick of spice. A lot hotter than other curry houses in the area but it compliments the flavours wonderfully. Friendly staff and management, easy parking and great atmosphere inside. Highly recommended.

This was the first time we’ve been to the Blue India, it was the BEST Indian food we’ve ever had, the atmosphere & staff was exceptional, will definitely be going back, also was able to take my left overs back home !!!Dietary restrictions: Very good selections of vegetarian & vegan options

The food is usually good but the last couple of times we’ve been it’s not been up to standard and definitely the service. It took ages for our drinks and especially the food. Everyone had to wait ages for food and we had to keep asking for drinks as the staff were not available. The phone was ringing constantly for takeaways and people who were seated were given a poor quality of service.

I came into the restaurant for my friends 19th birthday. The atmosphere was great, warm cosy and comfortable. The food was delectable, best I’ve had in a while. Nice Indian restaurant with a good selection of dishes available. The food was delicious and hot. Drinks were very expensive but most restaurants tend to overcharge. Glad we experienced this charming restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

We took an American friend here for a proper curry experience and it couldn’t have been better. First of all the atmosphere is lovely, very cosy on a cold winter night. Then the servers are all great, very friendly and helpful, even down to the young Bangladeshi guy who cleared the table (doing his Masters in E London, lovely fella). And the food? Absolutely top notch. Each dish was excellent. An all round great evening out.
Been 5 years since I've eaten here as previous experiences have been very mixed. Went on a Thursday night and the restaurant was virtually empty so was surprised to be asked if we'd booked, and when I said no, the lady who greeted us said I'll see if we have space - could see there were only about 4 bookings in the book for that night. After that, the food and the service was excellent. I had the lamb chettinad and my wife had the chicken desi karahi, we shared onion bhaji's, naan breads, bombay aloo and pilau rice. The chettinad was thick, spicy and full of flavour - just how I like it. My wifes desi karahi was HOT! Too spicy for her to enjoy unfortunately, but I really enjoyed it. Nothing wrong with the other dishes, all cooked well, except for the onion bhajis which were a little oily and far from the best I've had (these can be found just up the road in the indian restaurant opposite Sainsbury's!). Would have been 5 stars if the bhajis were up to scratch. By the time we left, there were a few other diners in the restaurant, but it wasn't busy.

So we use Blue India weekly and we think the food is excellent. However, for the last five weeks consecutively the take away order has been wrong. Either a dish or two missing or someone else's order. It's seems a bit chaotic as the food is lovely. Please get organised!!
