The Chef Thai Cuisine
9 Jengers Mead, BillingshurstI really would like to keep this Thai a secret but it would be unfair to deprive others of the experience! Honestly this is probably the best Thai restaurant you will find all the staff are so friendly, the food will tantalise your tastebuds But you will need to book it’s so popular and I’m not helping by telling you all to go and try it ! You won’t be disappointed trust me

The Sir Roger Tichborne
Loxwood Rd, Bars, BillingshurstWow what a find. Definitely one for the foodies! We swung by here on our way home and so glad we did. They managed to squeeze us in but recommend you book. The staff are great- attentive and quick. The landlord welcomed us in and made sure we were looked after. The pub itself is actually an eatery not a standard pub. They have huge fire places with real open fires and stoves. The tables are really well spaced out. They also have a function room on the other side that was hosting a birthday when we were there. We ordered the fish and chips and the chicken supreme. Both were excellent. I should mention at this stage I'm gluten free and 80% of the menu was gf which was awesome. With that in mind I had to check out their dessert menu and boy, I'm so glad I did. A warm blondie was served with home made pistachio ice cream and raspberry coulis which brought a big smile to my face. We left full and very happy.Dietary restrictions: Excellent gluten free menu - 80% gf

The Blacksmiths Arms 1010 Restaurant
Stane St, Adversane, BillingshurstThe food was really good. The Sunday roast dinner (Lamb) was tender and delicious as well as the homemade burger - super tasty! The kids penne bolognaise was also great. The Snowball dessert with nutella (like mini donuts) was a lovely end to the meal ?

Little Bean Cafe Billingshurst
41 High St, BillingshurstVisited here for a late breakfast. Despite a blown fuse in the kitchen the staff kept us fully informed and did their best to get our food to us as quickly as possible. When it arrived the food was excellent, tasty and good portion sizes. They were also happy to bring out a birthday cake that we brought despite them selling their own cakes and pastries. Staff were super friendly

The Half Moon, Kirdford
Glasshouse Ln, Kirdford, BillingshurstTucked away in the countryside is the Halfmoon in Kirdford a smart and friendly Pub serving some really standout plates of food. The pub itself is a polished affair neat and tidy…it’s not the biggest pub so booking is very advisable…in the summer they have a large garden which I’m sure gets busy. They stock the usual range of smart lagers and a couple of real ales. The wine list had a great range of wines by the glass which was great as we had to drive. The menu is quite small but with a selection of dishes that we found quite hard to choose as we wanted to try everything. They hold two AA rosettes which is very well deserved as the food comming out of the kitchen is exciting and interesting..there is no burger or pie pub fair. The standout dishes we had was the ibericho pork loin cooked perfectly with crispy squid and tandoori cauliflower, cashew korma sauce. Will definitely be going back.

Cricketers Arms Public House
Durbans Rd, Wisborough Green, BillingshurstThis is an excellent, traditional, down-to-earth pub - as it was and should be. Very down to earth; nothing poncy. No hooray Henrys. We didn't eat, so can't comment on that, but well worth a trip. Long may it thrive :-)

Public Toilets
Six Bells, 76 High St, BillingshurstSince moving to the area last year I have visited this pub for lunch at least once a month with family and will continue to return. The food is always tasty, well made and beautifully presented and their home made garlic bread is amazing. The staff are always friendly and work hard to make sure you’re looked after. During the day the pub is family friendly and on weekend evenings there is often brilliant live music. I’ve had a couple of nights out at the Bells and it’s always a great atmosphere. Proud to call The Six Bells my local.

Three Crowns
Billingshurst Rd, Wisborough Green, BillingshurstVegetarian options: Good amount of choice for vegetarians, with a variety of options from different cuisines.Parking: Good number of spaces in the road directly outside of the pub, but they are often full. We were lucky to find one space available, but unsure how easy it is to find alternative parking if these spaces are full.

Blue India
42 High St, BillingshurstThis has now become our favourite local takeaway. Food is wonderful, amazing flavours with a healthy kick of spice. A lot hotter than other curry houses in the area but it compliments the flavours wonderfully. Friendly staff and management, easy parking and great atmosphere inside. Highly recommended.

Blue Dragon
17 Jengers Mead, BillingshurstWe've just moved to the area, had our first takeaway Chinese from here Saturday night. We just walked in, we didn't ring ahead, only a 10 minute wait. Cash only it's worth noting (cash point by/apart of the outside of sainsburys) collection only.I had lemon chicken and beef chow mein, I thought it was pretty damn good, I've been using the same Chinese for years in Horsham so I have conflicting loyalties, but I'll be back for sure ??

76 High St, BillingshurstHad the mixed grill which was absolutely delicious I can still taste it. Very friendly bar staff especially Joan who made us feel very welcome. Wines fresh and kept at correct temperature and very reasonably priced compared to others. Great bunch of locals who were very friendly. Going to try their Sunday roasts which I hear are sumptuous.
