We stayed overnight in Billngshurst and this was a fabulous choice of room. Big, comfortable and very clean. Excellent service from OONAGH who also swiftly sent back something I left there. Lovely room and service.

I came here with my friend and toddler and we had a fantastic time. We ordered the Vegan Katsu curry, Chilli Con Carne and The Hunters Chicken- all three dishes were superb- the best I’ve eaten in a while. Real compliments to the chef as it was lovely! The lady who took our order was really fantastic also, she had lots of patience with my toddler too! Highly recommended, especially for food with your family. Definitely the best pub to eat in within the village.

You land up here. Quick drink. Nice. Local men having a drink at lunchtime. All fine. Until they decide to fetch up homophobic slurs just as you’re out the door. What can you do? Can’t cure stupid, but hateful stupidity is unpleasant to encounter

We had booked a room above the pub, but know the place as we've been here a few times but decided to meet up and spend a few hours eating & drinking with several friends and not have to worry about the drive home. The bar staff were lovely, and the food was great. We ordered several meals at different times and we didn't have ti wait long for piping hot food. There was a good variety from Steak to Pizza, and the menu had just enough choices that everyone could pick something different. Really enjoy coming here and looking forward to returning in the near future.

Visited today and many times before, as a resident of Billingshurst, this pub has fab staff, good food and a great atmosphere to relax and enjoy time with family and friends, highly recommended and Paul and Ali are so friendly and so accommodating, it’s so nice to have this great pub in our village. Definitely worth a visit. Also great place to watch any sport on the big screens.

Having just spent a few days in this great Inn l must say this. Paul that s head of house could've have been more accommodating and friendly. The beers are excellent and well kept. As for eating you will find the quality of the food is very high and cooked to perfection by the great young chief Jamie, who also does everything he can for you. The bedrooms are very good indeed as are all the staff. You will not be disappointed. And the village is very pretty, and a good central point to discover the area.

This was my first visit and the staff were immediately welcoming. Happy to accommodate my dog and a friendly atmosphere throughout. Food was excellent value for money. Big screen TV with BT Sport. Highly recommended
Had high hopes for our meal in the Kings Head, after reading all the reviews. But not this day. We had booked this pub, as its half way between our friends house and ours. This was a Sunday and the only choice was Roast Beef or roast Turkey. three of us had the Turkey and three of us had the beef.The beef sadly was way to undercooked and very tough. We called some one over and explained about the beef. and was offered a steak knive to cut it. You should never have to use a steak knive to eat a roast Beef dinner. The staff were very good about it and replaced the beef with Turkey. We did note other people were sending there Beef back. Onto pudding and again sadly the deep Apple pie was served with undercooked pastry, Again the staff was fine and removed our pie. So not a good meal . I do realise that things go wrong in Pubs from time to time, but undercooking should not be one of them.

The best pub food in the area. I hope chef Jamie never leaves. I had a double stack burger, my mum had fish & chips & my dad had ham, egg & chips. I tried all the dishes & they were all amazing. Can't wait to revisit. An easy 5*!!
