Staffing issues on the night, didn't help my order came out incorrect they took it back and the next meal was unacceptable and inedible the burger was under cooked and swimming in fat the duty manager did apologise but by then all my fellow dinners had finished their meal the furniture and decor is tired in my opinion in need of refurbishment the cost of the meals are cost effective but that doesn't mean the food quality should be.

Had a lovely family meal here. There were 15 of us from ages 1 to 75 and we all had a great time. The food was hot and fresh, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

huge portions and value for money.Staff were very friendly and did let us know there was a wait for food when we ordered.Decor is tired and the place could do with some investment. The staff made up for the decor.Accept Blue Light cards at 20% discount.

Onion rings were the nicest part of the mixed grill. Chicken was undercooked and a bit soft and gammon was like a brick. Very hard. No flavour. Service was good. And burger was lovely. Chips were hard and looked precooked and

As my daughters father Tom, who is the kitchen manager works there as a chef, the food is ALWAYS of good standard, but do feel the Martletts could do with a re-vamp, and would benefit from table service, and to bring back the carvery, where u can go up and help yourself!Kid-friendliness: There are tables you can sit at where normally the small tvs there are working, to keep the children occupied!

Awful experience , me and my family turned up on a quiet Saturday afternoon with our kids who were starving, there was no one to seat us , so we had to grab a table and and when we went to order the rude woman behind bar said she couldn’t take any walk ins due to lack of staff and plates , only bookings as that’s all they catered for… we had o grab our kids and leave … they were not busy and there was plenty of tables available ! We were not impressed with not even a single attempt to serve us ..!! Will not be going back there !

Since the refurbishment a few years ago this place became nice and cosy. There is a large outside area which is fenced off from the restaurant's carpark so kids can freely run around and play. There is a space for folks who want to enjoy their drinks and separate areas for when you want to dine. Food is good and so are the prices. One more thing - they have the best sticky toffee pudding! :)
