Very good, not big but has most things you might need.

The Waitrose store at Burgess Hill is very good. The staff are always helpful but recent ‘developments’ are a huge mistake. The installation of a bank of self service tills are wrong. The thing Waitrose has over all other supermarkets is the helpfulness of its staff. Having people operating the tills provides a level of support to a wide range of customers, from physical help to just simply a friendly face for the many customers who do not have family and friends nearby. This installation of faceless tills is already seeing a large amount of negative social media comments and this will only get worse. In the rush to maximise profits Waitrose risk alienating their own customer base. This morning I went into the store and people were happily queuing to go through the tills whilst the self service was empty. Waitrose needs to reconnect with its customers.

A bank of all cashless self service tills evidently prioritsed over traditional customers. Very sad to see.

It’s the best grocery shop in Burgess Hill

Very nice Waitrose store here. One that even has a loo. Which is useful. Very well stocked store. Great staff. Day I went they had sadly run out of scrambled eggs in the nice little restaurant here. I will go back.

The fact you can't even take a free trolley to do your food shop says it all about this now out of touch supermarket; I resent having to pay £1 to pay for your overpriced items. How about you put your customer first for a change? Also, your reward system is an absolute farce. Two vouchers to choose from a month? I can barely contain my excitement.

Always a pleasure to shop here. The friendly staff always make you feel welcome. The store is always clean and reasonably stocked up. Parking is easy too.

Pretty good ?All in all a nice place to shop.I like their new Japanese range with 25% off but generally their pricing is way to high for my pockets

Overall, a good Waitrose store but they have been out of stock of crusty rolls for the past 2 weeks and that was the main reason I went there. Please restock!

Happy with my shopping trip, staff are very helpful, always ready to assist me if I can't find an item I am looking for. A young Man is manning the self service facilities, always eager to assist customers, he has helped me on a couple of occasions to which I am truly grateful. It's the kindness and knowledge of the staff that makes Waitrose a pleasant place to shop.
Shopping here is always a pleasure despite rising prices. This morning, while struggling to retrieve my £1 coin from the trolley I dropped my shopping bag on the floor. Two bottles of wine were shattered and the contents was all over my shopping. One of the partners came to my assistance. His name is ROB and he was INCREDIBLY helpful! He took over the situation. He replaced my wine and dried and repacked my shopping into another bag. Amazing!

Rightly regarded as a cut above... and not always more costly. Customer service can't be faulted as there are never any quibbles. The best supermarket meat - almost as good as the local butcher

Helpful staff, usual problems of low stock of fresh veg, but that problem is UK wide!

This place is awful you have to pay for parking but if you dont spend 15£ in store u wont be able to get a refund for it. Totally ungraceful. Customer service was super rude too when i asked about the refund stated on the ticket.
