Unecessary noise from the kitchen which sounded like the cutlery being droped from a great hight. Garlic bread over cooked to a crisp. Main course very nice and would have again should I return. Which we will but not on a Saturday lunchtime.

I enjoyed the food, there is a good variety. It is a nice setting, service was helpful and it seems like a popular restaurant.

My talligatele was a little over cooked, everything else is fine. We enjoyed the atmosphere. Tiramisu is yummy.

We were made to feel so welcome. Our requests were catered for (my children have ASD so I requested a low traffic area to be seated in.) The food was beautiful and the waiting staff had the perfect balance of checking in and leaving be. Many thanksKid-friendliness: Very child friendly. Including those with additional needs.

Concern Regarding StaffI hope this message finds you well. I wanted to express my concern regarding recent interactions with the staff manager, lady dark hair on evening shift. It seems that she may not be in the best mood to work, and I have noticed a certain level of rudeness during our interactions.

Ordered the seafood linguine. Was so bland I sent it back. The service couldn't have been better. The food was replaced without much delay and I was made to feel valued. Unfortunately the replaced dish wasn't much better. Disappointed at the price point I would expect much better for a popular dish.

My friends and I visited the restaruant last night and left very disappointed with our meal and evening unfortunately. One friends received her meal without the veg and when we asked if they were coming, we were told that they had none - Perhaps this is something you should confirm at the time of ordering!? We then had the same problem with one persons dessert - they were given a slightly different dessert and when we asked the waitress, we were told they didn't have what was ordered...! Two of my friends were also disappointed with their puddings (brownies lasagne). I also felt the food was slightly over priced considering the taste and experience. We also sat waiting for our bill for a long period of time, without anyone checking if we were ok or if we needed anything, whilst all the staff prepared for closing up around us (9:30pm). Overall, not a good expereince and we won't be back unfortunately.

Nathan was great and really looked after us. Food was well cooked and arrived in good time. Just abit stingy on the pizza toppings, considering the prices eg Fiery Calabria. Abit overpriced for portion sizes. Restaurant was clean and we were well looked after though.

On the 2nd December 2023, at 16:40pm me and my partner entered Ask Italian Chichester and it all went down from there. It was our anniversary and the staff completely ruined with their rude service and lack of respect. From first breath they were saying they were booked despite having 10 or so tablets free and putting time limits on tables, they sat us at a table but instantly time limited us telling us we have to be out by 5:30pm, giving us only 50 minutes to eat our meal. The female waitress which originally time limited us gave us massive attitude and made us feel very unwelcome. She had told all the staff that we were on a time limit and they all made it clear that we were not welcome to eat in comfort. There was one waiter who was extremely rude and made our whole experience awful, he had massive attitude and kept coming over telling us to get out because he apparently needed the table despite their being many tables available. Well it got to 5:30pm and he came over snatched our plates off the table, never once offered the dessert menu (he offered it to many other customers around us). We ask for the dessert menu and he sarcastically said yes but it was cutting time apparently because he wanted the table. He slammed the menus on the table and less than 1 minute later came and told us to decide, my partner being on the phone we had not decided yet and he snatched the menu from us and told us to get out all because he wanted the table for customers who had not turned up. I cannot believe how disgusting someone can be, Chichester Ask Italian has no respect at all and we will never be going again, they have lost good customers. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I visited Ask early evening today as part of a party of 6 with two children also one toddler not eating. There was only one table occupied when we arrived. We were waiting at least an hour for our main courses, (kids had their garlic bread promptly). I asked staff for an update as kiddies getting fractious and hungry. Grandad had to prompt again since every other table served who had all arrived after us. Granted they apologised and gave us 25% off bill. If it was just us and not grandkids I would not be complaining but don't think it's right particularly as I could see from where we were sitting that takeaways were clearly taking priority. Shame.

Nothing to say as when we went in for a table for two on a Saturday we were told sorry we don’t have enough staff to serve you and the ones we do have need a break. Suit yourself we won’t bother again

We had been looking forward to trying the Chichester branch and really wished we hadn’t bothered. Dirty tables, filthy toilets, overpriced flavourless food. Very disappointing. The antipasto at £15 for 2 to share was barely enough for 1. The “special “ pizza was anything but special. And my wife’s risotto con funghi (with chicken) was totally devoid of flavour and she left most of it. To the servers credit he did take the risotto off the bill but this is hardly the point. Restaurant prices have risen considerably over the last few years and expecting people to part with their hard earned cash for such mediocrity is really not on.

Top quality ! Front of house very attentive to all that came in Sandhi, Nicole, Jess always ensure you are seated and looked after. Tommi & Ranch doing what they do best in the kitchen. Top notch quality of food and my lunch was perfect. I have been coming to ask (chichester) for over 15 years. The staff are the most important reason I keep coming back along with the food of course. That being said more has to be done to retain staff, I know it's difficult in this industry but they are the life & soul of the company and should given the support they need.

We were served by Jessica who was really very lovely and friendly. We had a veggie pizza each (Caprina and Melanzane) which were delicious! We also had the new sticky toffee coffee pudding with salted caramel gelato which we shared. This was also really tasty. It was quite busy so the noise was a lot higher than what we have experienced before but I’m sure had it bothered us, the staff would have moved us without any qualms. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Firstly it was between lunch and dinner .The service by both waiting staff was excellent. There were very few occupied tables probably at a push 5 so no excuse to say kitchen was under pressure The waiter told us several things were unavailable..I have had this before at Billericay ASK so I know what to expect .We ordered BEEF BRISKET PAPARADELLE. The waiter came and told us they hadnt the correct pasta so would substitute .It went downhill from there on .the pasta hadnt been drained properly was watery .and the sauce was virtually non existant .I felt it was more a weak bolonaise and shared between the two plates. This is not our first visit to Chi. ASK its usually buzzing .this time on entering it was soul less and almost empty .Maybe patrons had rubbish food and sought another Chichester Italian .It will be a long time before we venture in again .The Management should take a trip to ASK at Billericay and see how its done. Sad to write this and so very very dissapointed.
