This is a really nice place. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend.

I assumed this was a combine establishment with the standard steak and ale / hunters chicken/ scampi etc. But NO! The staff were attentive and polite and seated us without a reservation. The menu WASN'T an explosion of pictured combinations of fried food. It was a good range of quality meals. The chicken, leek and mozarella pie was excellent, tasty with a good sauce and beautiful pastry. So amazed that I had to ask Sophie D the waitress who owned the restaurant. Well done Mitchell and Butler.

Lovely restaurant and setting makes for a very nice experience, but the food was ok, nothing outstanding for the price. My reason for a less than pleasing rating is in part down to a simple error in judgment in some respects. My displeasure is more to the poor response to the mistake that was made, I myself am a recovering alcoholic with a 10 months clean, which was put at risk by the establishment. We ordered alcohol free ciders, the first pair we correctly delivered to our table, the problem arose when the 2nd round was ordered, I was still in the process of drinking my 1st luckily my wife poured and took a drink before noticing that they weren’t the free version. Once at the bar to explain the error the bar manager seemed unwilling to want to expect balms and tried to push the ownership onto the bar staff although they entered it correctly. And may add the young lady that serviced us was brilliant and service was always positive and friendly. Once I’d finished my meal and drinks, I wanted to tackle the issue of the drink properly and was informed the area manager was on site and could talk to him, for a person in a higher position not to have the back bone to come to front of house and explain and convey the restaurant’s error and apologies is shocking. This again fell on the shoulders of the bar staff, I then spoke to the duty manager that made the mistake and I did accept is apologies as genuine but maybe the restaurant need to understand the very serious consequences the mistake could of had on myself with my outgoing battle with alcohol. Furthermore my wife was driving and this could had a wider affect on other if she’d finished the drink and was later stopped by the police. It is my right still to enjoy a meal in a pub and partake in a enjoyable lifestyle regardless of my battles in life, I think the magnitude of this error shouldn’t be taken so lightly if it were to happen again.

Welcome was excellent, sat down in a lovely table in the corner, perfect for my deaf grandad as the music was a pleasant volume. Sophie D was our main waitress who was superb, as a fellow waitress myself her waitressing skills were out of this world. Deserves a pay rise for sure. Service was quick and food was mouthwatering. Facilities were clean and pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

Badly seated with noisy families despite space in the main restaurant. The usual varied menu was substituted with a limited one presumably to maximize profit, roast potatoes cold, Yorkshire tasteless, green veg rock hard. All were cold and tasteless, mass catered and obviously reheated. Starters and desserts were 'cheap' and way below 'pub grub' in conception and execution. 'Disgusting' was the verdict of one of our party. The bill was just under £100 for the three of us. My wife paid a £15 deposit and this was not deducted from the bill until we highlighted it. We left a tip for the service staff!

We held a wake here after my Mum’s funeral. It was absolutely perfect - lovely staff especially Lauren who arranged it all for us. We had a very nice room set out with tables and chairs, delicious buffet, and drinks. Very reasonably priced, masses of parking all in all it couldn’t have been better. Thank you so much to all the staff.

A lovely location, easy to park friendly welcome. Whatever possessed the pub to organise totally inappropriate very loud music that did nothing to enhance the ambiance of a lovely pub. Some food options not available, chicken skewer, rainbow trout. Starter pepper squid was only warm and quite dry. Main course pork belly was excellent, tender meat crispy crackling and rich gravy. Table service excellent our evening just spoilt by the music, we where not alone as we noticed many empty tables near the speakers.

Good food, good parking, dog friendly. Did not need to book (midweek lunch during half term), lots of tables in and out. Friendly staff, big pub restaurant, more restaurant than pub.

Firstly I must say that our waitress, Sophie D, was excellent in every way. The main meal took an hour and a half to arrive and, when it did, some of the dishes were overcooked and dry. We had booked an early evening slot on Saturday, 28th May, for five people but even then some dishes on the menu, such as fish and chips, were unavailable! Not a great experience. I would certainly think twice before ever returning!

My husband and I went for lunch today and the food was absolutely amazing, we had exceptional service from all the staff and we were made feel to most welcome. Congratulations Alex (Manager) you are doing a sterling job. If you are looking for a venue for that special occasion we would highly recommend the Bosham Inn we will most certainly be back. Many thanks indeed.

Really disappointing experience. I was in the area looking at properties to move house. There are so many lovely looking country pubs/restaurants in this area. We chose this venue because we only had an hour to spare before collecting the children. It’s a larger venue with ample parking. it can be quite risky choosing smaller venues on a timescale. The service was excellent and efficient and the venue is lovely. Our meal was delivered promptly so no complaints there Unfortunately my meal was awful. I wanted something light so I chose a quinoa salad with kofta kebabs. What I received was a dump of watercress scattered with a really bland quinoa and whole grain mustard mix and and 3 nuggets of processed kofta that you’d expect to come from the freezer section of Iceland. Acceptable in ASDA cafe but I expected much much more from such a beautifully kept restaurant. At the very least I would have expected a self respecting restaurant to take pride in making their own kebabs and I would have expected much more from the salad. My salad was also warm which I can only assume is because someone thought it smart to sit it under the warming plate before sending it out. In fairness I did see some lovely looking dishes sent to other tables during my visit, but what I ordered… well… the chef and the management really need to rethink that dish.
