I had arranged a night out with friends and ex-colleagues. Food was really good, as was service. The only downsides were slightly cramped table (one of the party had to sit at one end which was a bit tight) and being close to the door, we were exposed to drafts when the door was opened (which it was on numerous occasions - particularly when there was a queue of customers propping it open). Other than that, it was very good and I would visit again but would ask for a table away from the door.

Absolutely shocking take a booing for 7 people for 8pm tonight but when we turn up no table as apparently people booked 3 months before us. If you can't accommodate don't take bookings!!

We had a truly excellent meal here. The whole dining experience was great from the moment we entered the deceptively spacious restaurant. We were greeted by friendly staff who were attentive throughout the evening. They were very accommodating and made meat curries without meat and with paneer instead. The food itself was well presented, plentiful and absolutely delicious. They was a good vegetarian choice too. There were old favourites and some restaurant specialties. We were given a complimentary baileys at the end of our meal. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.Vegetarian options: The chef was happy to adapt meat curries to vegetarian. We added paneer instead of meat. It was delicious

Found this to be a really good curry house. Had my usual Jalfrezi and other half had veg Dhansak. Both were really good and the naan was like a proper Indian naan, not a huge great big thing so many others do. Fully recommend. We also had excellent service and a very informative waiter.
Seriously tasty food, really friendly staff when me and the boys get together we treat ourselves to a nice meal here, very respectfully run. Can’t wait to go back.

Best Indian food in Chichester! We love our weekly deliveries from India Gate and we recently visited the restaurant with our family, which took our love for the food to a whole new level. You simply cannot beat it; fresh out of the kitchen, perfectly cooked, moist meat and full of flavour. It was divine! The Cobra beer on draught was also perfectly chilled and gassed; best pint of Cobra I’ve ever had! All the staff are lovely and very hospitable. I recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
