Daughter visiting from London. We popped up to the Barley Mow for a Sunday lunch. Had the beef. Very, very tasty. Ample portions. Nice youngsters serving too. There was a group of Alfa Romeo owners there too so all the beautiful cars were lined up in the car park.Bar lady said they have regular car groups go there

Fantastic pub, incredible service and if the Tartiflette is on it is a must. Best Tartiflette I have ever had, in Switzerland or elsewhere! Lorraine is a diamond. Perfect pub.

Fantastic pub to meet and have a drink! Been in a few times and the landlady working behind the bar is great fun and makes you feel welcome. Absolute gem of a pub and if you just want to pop in and have a drink, then do! Haven't eaten in there but the food looks and smells amazing.

Popped in for a well earned coffee after our late morning walk in the ☀️☀️.. Warmly greeted & directed to the designated dog friendly & dirty boots area..??.. 2 hot cappuccinos later & couple of dog biscuits for the 2 hounds & we were on our way ? .. As others have said, this remains a ' proper pub'... See you again & thankyou..?

This is such a lovely pub. Worth the drive out for the food, beer and atmosphere. Fabulous staff and so welcoming for families, groups, couples and anyone in their own. (Dogs welcome too). Definitely 5 star rating

Came with 6 others (plus a dog) on Dec 27th. Amazingly friendly staff, attentive, kind and obliging. Emma and Lorraine were incredible, made us feel so welcome after a wet walk. Speedy service and keen to help us for all. The food was excellent, particularly the chips, and we all straight away said we wanted to write a review. One of the best welcomes in a pub we've had, especially since we didn't book and there were 7 of us and a dog. Thanks for a lovely lunch.
