10 family members met up today for my grandson's 18th Birthday lunch. Sarah K was our server & was very friendly + helpful & made sure we all had an enjoyable time. My daughter took a birthday cake for us to have after our meal & again the staff were very obliging & came to our table with it after our main course had been cleared. We have met here several times before as a family as Chichester is a halfway meeting venue for us & we have always had a good experience. Thank you all for making it a special lunch for my grandson, our meals were nicely presented & delicious.

Came for a family meal and I wanna say a massive THANKYOU to Ellie & Dylan plus the manager who was absolutely amazing dealing with my stepmum’s meal which unacceptable when it came out and they sorted it very quickly and took it off the bill which I appreciated so much. Best harvester I’ve visited and we will be back! Friendliest harvester staff plus quick service

Went for a family breakfast at 10 am. Once seated we were asked what we would like to drink, gave orders and we're told they had no green tea. This turned out to be wrong and it was served. We were almost given no choice to weather we wanted toast and we're told there was no white bread. That was also wrong and we're served both whit and brown. My daughter ordered the fish cakes. Our waitress returned to our table after 10 mins and said she had dropped the fishcakes and they were cooking another batch. Another 10 mins went buy, still no food. More excuses, fish cakes are crumbling, haven't got any. Eventually we asked if the other 7 breakfasts could be served, which they were, but it was obvious that they had been kept under heat and had dried out. My daughter did not have a meal and the bill was given before we had even started eating. Very disappointed.

This evening we ended up heading to Harvester in Chichester for dinner after a disastrous meal elsewhere. The service was excellent, food delicious and the Easter menu was fantastic value. We hadn’t booked as we hadn’t planned to be visiting, but we only had a short wait to be seated. Would highly recommend. Our waitress was friendly, polite and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Booked a meal to have with a friend on Tuesday the 22nd we’ve been several times before and it’s always been nice but I really don’t know what happened for that evening we arrived and Stood waited for 10 minutes staff walked past and could see we were waiting to be checked in and just ignored us not even an acknowledgement to say someone will be with you shortly We were then sat at a table for 16 people and the girl had 16 menus in her hand when we asked what happened she went oh dear I’m back to check-in and realise there is only two of us with him was a table and a very polite young guy served us but he did forget our drinks and we had to ask 10 minutes later where our drinks were we then both ordered the rack of ribs with a half rotisserie chicken at £17.65 when it came out the ribs were about the size of a pigeon and we had the corner piece of a chicken breast which was no bigger than 2 inches and about half an inch thick when I asked what it was the guy said that they’d run out of half rotisserie chicken well why not say that when they take the order and we could’ve ordered something else that was our food waited 20 minutes for The Mill to come out he then said that the manager would take £10 off but we wasn’t happy with The Mill so we walked out the manager didn’t seem to know how to deal with the situation but it was a very poor service all round but like I say we’ve been previous and we’ve not had a problem and the food is being nice so it seems to be run by people last night who didn’t have a clue about cooking or customer service

My partner and I visited on Monday afternoon for a quick drink, Barman named Craig was very welcoming and knowledgeable/helpful finding me a non-alcoholic drink and giving his opinion on if it was an overly sweet drink or not. Thanks for a lovely visit ⭐️

“Absolutely fantastic service, Conner and Ollie were respectful, attentive, professional, and courteous. I explained my needs and Connor needed to check something with the duty manager Ollie, I respect this as double checks requirements and keeps my safety priority. Salad and rolls were brought out from the kitchen to avoid cross contamination. My food was brought out separately and Connor said that he washed his hands as well. I was checked on regularly to make sure I was okay, and this was done in a non-patronising way. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, and it made my time stress free as I knew the staff had confidence and training in what they were doing. Thank you for my making my day and making me feel safe. “

We always pop in for a drink after work and at weekends and the place has become a local. Comfortable surroundings and great team of staff. Special mention to Craig who always serves us in the afternoons with a smile and a chat! Must try the food again soon as it always looks appetising!
