Visited here today for lunch, the service we received was impeccable, absolutely delighted with the guy who served us, went above and beyond, my sister and I will definitely be returning, certainly recommend

Very dissapionted in the room. The decor was dated and not maintained very well. The bathroom had chewing gum on the floor. The walls in the bedroom appeared to have mould or a water leak at some time. The plant water in the window was green and hadn't been changed in ages. The room just needs a fresh lick of paint to brighten it up. One positive the sheets were clean and the staff very polite. Unfortunately we didn't complain but should of. We did ring round that night to try and get a room anywhere closer to Purchases restaurant unfortunately it was the weekend before christmas and everwhere was fully booked. Such a shame regarding the room.

We were looking for Sunday lunch at the last minute, and were seated after a short wait. We were delighted with the quality, and generous amount of food. The roast was served with a wide variety of vegetables. The service at the table was outstanding, with the kitchen being most helpful to cater to our needs. The restaurant was quiet, and the price was not expensive.

Excellent value stay in central Chichester. Spotlessly clean and comfortable and the stable rooms are accessible outside of pub opening hours via a side gate. Nice not to have to come and go through the bar area. Staff were really friendly and the breakfast exceeded expectations. Smoked salmon and scrambled egg, crushed avocado and poached egg as well as the more traditional full English. No parking at the hotel but plenty of car parks nearby where 24hrs is under £8. Will definitely be staying again.

Rooms are a little dated. A freshen up is needed, but they are recently under new management. Breakfast was great, it's now a cooked breakfast, I wasn't expecting that.

Great fun night at the weekly quiz. Lovely atmosphere and we were looked after well. Would highly recommend.

Food and service fabulous.. but rooms, the only decent thing was the shower, rooms dated bed dated and uncomfortable spring mattress pillows flat as pancakes and no blackout curtains so as soon as the sun rises at 6 you'll be getting up,provided you actually got any sleep in those beds, and despite an apparent free Internet was unable to get online even when apparently logged in.

Stayed for a couple of nights in one of the twin rooms over the bank holiday weekend whilst visiting friends. Food was good, atmosphere was great! Both nights were lively due to their 80’s night and karaoke but thoroughly enjoyed both. Drinks a little pricey but worth it

A crap place to forget!!! never seen in my life such an orrible b&b. wifi not working, the room was damp and dirty, continental breakfast non existing (a bunch of dirty tea bags and hot water, yougurt not available, milk from weeks before, bad quality fruit - an apple and an organge). The plus was the staff: rude, unhelpful, not knowing the place they live in: I asked for the local tourist information and a girl at the reception looked at me as if i was asking for the holy graal! and the tourist infomation is just a block away from this crappy, dirty, ridicolus place. not an Inn, a hovel!!!
