Came across this little café mid afternoon on Saturday and we're so pleased to find it open. Friendly staff and tasty coffee.

Stopped here for brunch whilst on a long walk. It’s ok. Staff were polite enough, coffee ok. Handy location and we were glad to find somewhere to eat and drink. Public toilets are located across the road. The not so good experiences- Menus are stuck to a table in a small space, so it’s difficult for a group to see what’s available without crowding the place. Why not have a few copies that people can take to their table? Coffee was ok but we had to go back to ask for sugar and then wasn’t given a stirrer or spoon. Bacon and sausage rolls were not expensive but not great quality either. Bread was very dry, crumbly and tasted old. Ketchup/brown sauce is put on for you, rather than letting you put your own on, not allowing for personal preference. This place could be much better with just a few improvements. It’s in a lovely location and is better than nothing.

Could do with being healthier. The healthiest thing I cud see on the menu was a tuna baguette & I wouldn't rate that as particularly healthy with the bread & mayo. Need healthier drinks too.

Went in today and were disappointed, I think it has changed hands. No cups & saucers or table service. Little choice, reasonable prices but would not go back

Popped in to get a takeaway sandwich, really disappointed to receive a Brie & Cranberry sandwich in dry, stale bread. No salad leaves & little filling, lovely staff but wouldn’t recommend for food.

Best coffee and (freshly cooked) pastries around, by far. Quick and friendly, good prices too. Been going there for years. Tom and his team always deliver great service.
