We had a lovely evening at The Swan Pub. Excellent food and service. Definitely will visit again.

It felt like a pub for regulars as they were all talking in a group. Everyone was friendly though.

Lovely little pub. Not too busy. Really friendly staff, fast service, clean everywhere, and good food at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I have emailed them directly about my complaint but they have rudely not replied. Christmas Day Dinner was abysmal. Turkey was processed and tasted and looked like it came from a packet. It reminded me of a school dinner. Potatoes and vegetables rock hard and literally 4 raspberries in my Eton mess. Absolutely disgusting for the price we paid at nearly £90 a head. Will not be returning and I'll make sure everyone I know and all my clients hear about it.

Went here for Sunday lunch - staff were lovely . Roast dinner was ok - it comes down to personal choice - I thought the gravy was watery / roast potatoes not crispy / and Yorkshire burnt . Roast beef was lovely Would I cone again not sure as I like to go different places and too me it was average

First time at this pub, found the service to be very good and so friendly. Choose that days special which was mushroom and goat cheese quiche, chef came out and explained that as it was just coming out of oven and went through choice of side dishes with us. So glad we choice this dish it was so tasty that had we not been going onto a meeting my friend was thinking of buying another portion to take away.

We 5 Loved their Sunday Roast, I'd say it was the tastiest I can ever remember having & the portions are Huge ! Staff very good, no complaints whatsoever, have live music there in the pub area, different talented artists, later there was karaoke ? but the restaurant area is separate & quieter even though you could hear it, it didn't bother me, one of my friends liked the singer earlier, the other thought the karaoke was out of tune later

We have eaten here a couple of times in the past so we decided to eat here again if it wasn't busy. We found that the place was empty so figured that we would not have to wait long for food. We waited just under an hour for our food which was a fish burger with chips and a steak burger with chips. Although the food was plentiful, the fish burger had many big bones in it which suggested to me that the chef had not de boned the fish before battering. It spoiled the enjoyment of the fish burger.

I had the vegan burger, which was really tasty. The guy who served us was really friendly. A very nice evening.

What a lovely warm comforting pub. Lot of history in the building which manager Clare shared and got the pleasure to have live music. Staff were brilliant and the whole atmosphere was spot on.

Four of us booked in for lunch. All had different meals & all were well cooked & nicely presented. Service was attentative without being 'over the top' Recommended.

Phoned to book a Sunday lunch, and we were very pleased to find out that it was dog friendly.Obviously a very popular pub, and was quite full. We all ordered the Sunday roast...which was lovely. The only possible negative would be that for me I would have liked the potatoes slightly more cooked, they were a touch anaemic, and it was quite a wait til we got our food. The veg and Yorkshire puds were gorgeous. I would visit again....make sure you book as they are very busy on a Sunday.
