Staff super and welcoming .The pre booking we made, although confirmed didn't appear on the restaurant system when we arrived but luckily was quite quiet.The food was really good but a few items off the menu which would have been useful to be advised of before we ordered as went back and forth a few times as each time out choice wasn't available.I asked if smaller portions were available and was told that wasn't an option. I don't like food waste and can't eat large portions, however when we left we were told we could have ordered kids portions of some items.The restaurant always feels a little cold even sat next to he kitchen so perhaps this could be looked at.We went to pay and were asked if we had any vouchers which we didn't. We then proceeded to us the app to pay which did give us 25% off but this wasn't advised and found by chance. The app was a bit of a faff but staff were patient and helped us through it to get the discount.Overall a nice meal, staff were lovely to my daughter who's birthday it was .Just a few things to improve and would make even better .

Last weekend we went to have dinner. It was very crowded because of Christmas but the service was really good and food was amazing. I'll repeat without doubts.

Had a 80 birthday meal for my friend, it was very busy at the time, access to the ground floor toilets was not accessible and very poor table layout. The service was very slow, our meals were brought out late and at different times. Then the waitress by access through the ice cream pudding over my friend. The service all together was poor and we were questioned why we were not paying a service charge at the time of the bill. They did then take it off the bill and gave my friends 25% off her next meal. But personally my self I will not go back. This is a real shame as I have had much better service in the past.
Very disappointed!! We’ve been to several of Zizzis restaurants and always had a good meal but unfortunately tonight it was not the case. The restaurant is very tired looking. My husband ordered pasta with prawns and salmon in a carbonara sauce. It definitely wasn’t carbonara just a white sauce and was quite dry. I had a pepperoni and mushroom pizza which was very greasy. The green salad had old lettuce in covered with lots of cheese to hide it! The water jug was not clean! The waitress, Caitlin, was very nice but when I complained she didn’t react to it.

Family on the adjacent table constantly shouting and screaming like 2 year olds, when I confronted them the manager told me to sit down and be quiet, you couldn't make it up. Not recommended for normal polite people.

It's a nice place but nothing that special, though as a family have been going there for years! Now it's a bit grubby in places and seems like it needs a bit of tlc in places or maybe just a cleaner / eye on things when it gets mucky. The food I had recently seemed sloppier than the time i'd had it before. Maybe the chef wasn't as experienced on the second time around. Overall no major dramas, staff nice enough they could just do with remembering they are still human beings and not robots, a bit? :)
