I left today absolutely horrified. I am a 4ft 11 woman and I was tackle to the side by a heavy muscley security guard trying to get a man. He could have shouted move but didn't he just pushed me over... it was so horrible, not only did I get injured, I spilled my drink on the floor.I will never go again.

Great place for an any type of occasion - went for a work place staff do. Parking is relatively easy especially on a Sunday close by parking is easier.

Octopvs Bar on Crawley High Street! What a bar. Great service from the guys and girls behind the bar and the doorstaff are up for a laugh. Me and my partner came together last night and had a awesome experience. We hope to return again very soon. Guys keep up the good work and keep smiling ?

Me and a friend were in the Octpvs bar on Sunday 24th September. We were having an enjoyable night in the bar in which the server seemed pleasant enough. We had spent about 2 hours in the bar, not making any noise or causing trouble. We eventually spoke to some locals in the outside area, behind the seating area we were situated in was the corner of the outside gazebo. It was a windy evening and the gazebo was untied and flapping around a fair bit; I therefore offered to tie up the corners. I had to walk round the gazebo to tie it up, this took a minute at most Before returning to my seat with our small party. After a little while I heard a loud aggressive voice shouting me over, at first I didn’t suspect it was anything to do with us until he shouted once or twice more, the shouting was coming from the two security guards. I was asked to come over, not only was I accused of disturbing the peace whilst tying up the gazebo but selling drugs to our group. I calmly (at first) responded to this accusation by asking why after sitting in the pub for over two hours would I sell anything illegal at this point, and informing them about simply tying up a string on the gazebo. There response to this was, ‘that isn’t your responsibility, you should’ve asked management’.After some backwards and forwards about why I couldn’t simply tie up a gazebo, myself and the security guards became more hostile. What still angers me was there persistence I was dealing drugs in the pub, this lead to the security guards calling over more cronies (whoever they were) and telling me I had to empty my pockets to prove I had no drugs.I told them they had no rights to make me empty my pockets, a few times, I eventually did empty my pockets of my belongings, simply to prove me innocence. Without this being dehumanising enough I was patted down by one of the security guards. I was rightly annoyed at the whole situation, justifiably, especially when my friend and I were told to leave. At the point of the incident (about 23:00) myself and my friend were pretty sober, and the only reasoning they had for kicking us out was, disturbing the peace. Although my voice was raised, so were there’s, I showed no signs of real and anger or aggression according to the witnesses around us.These bouncers epitomise the stereotype of being entitled, aggressors, with a false sense of power. Be careful of these bouncers.

This place is excellent, an absolute gem! Expertly made cocktails by proper, professional bartenders who really know what they’re doing. Gabri, Ross and Tyler looked after us so well. An amazing outdoor space, and it’s a really quirky Tardis inside. I’ll be going back any time I’m back that way - highly recommend, 5/5!

Tiny place, there's no space for anything, the resident dj is not a dj he just plays songs and I can play better songs that he does. The only reason people enjoy is because they're drunk. Security has the worst attitude I have ever seen. They're not friendly and act like their better than everyone.Wheelchair accessibility: There isn't any

I would not give any stars! My best friends took me out for my B'day night out.... (46) , my friends spend so much money on treating me. Let's just say is this place catering for locals or??? Bouncers think they they are part of the European Army. It's Crawley!

Got my jacket stolen there. Asked security and the crew, just after I realised (must be within 30 minutes since it was gone) and they showed no effort in helping me to find it. Only on the next day when I came back manager was a bit more helpful, checking out the place, but it was already gone. Take care!

Hi, the outside marquee heated area is welcome and it's fun to socialize there. But inside lies the problem: what was clearly a twee little pub has been converted to an attempt at a nightclub. The back room has a relatively high ceiling which is a relief and you have legitimate cocktail waiters mixing actual cocktails and video screens pumping out psychedelic imagery. But the main area for congregating and dancing is often rammed with patrons. There simply isn't enough space for so many people! Even though the omnipresent security are likely very vigilant to the potential hazards of these circumstances, a small space with too many people is a recipe for disaster if you ask me!
