Nicest cafe in Crawley. Being hard of hearing, many cafes are way too loud for studying but this one has the right atmosphere. It can get louder when it gets busier but still nowhere near as loud as other places. The food is delicious and affordable. The service is always friendly. It’s worth driving to Crawley just to get stuff done while having great food! Their biscoff shake is amazing and so are the lemonades. I will keep on trying different things from their menu

The Hillside Inn

Our server Michael was fantastic. We were told when we sat down service would be slower than usual due to a shortage of chefs but he made sure my 2 year old grandson had his dinner quickly which made our wait bearable. Michael kept us updated, made sure we had drinks and was so friendly & helpful despite being run off his feet!

I visited the store today for a Giant celebration cookie. I ordered the milk chocolate cookie with blue & white frosting. The service that Beata provided was very quick and efficient. She decorated the cookie exactly how I wanted it!

I am married to a vegan and their menu is fantastic for Vegan and non vegan alike, besides good food at reasonable prices the atmosphere is great and you get great service by wonderful people such as Gill and Ryan!Vegetarian options: lots of Vegetarian and vegan options, my wife says the Vegan burger is the second best she has had followed only by her own.

Great place for an American style experience. Great food and really good selection of drinks. Nice friendly staff, lots of kids though so not so great if you're a non child couple for a night out. Great for families though.

New Lotus House

First time in Crawley and so glad that I've found this gem! Best Chinese food ever and their tofu and egg rolls are unforgettably yummy. Great to know it's an authentic Chinese food cooked by Chinese chef, love it! Thank you for cooking the delicious food, that's the only good thing that I have experienced in Crawley as a first time visitor. Xie xie.

Mazza Indian Takeaway

Ordered as a takeaway, and unfortunately I recieved a chicken korma rather than the prawn korma I had ordered. Despite that, the chicken korma was tasty and had lots of big juicy chicken chunks in it. Would recommend the mushroom rice also, which was very flavoursome and could have been eaten just by itself!

Me, my parents and sibling always visit Toby Calvary. Each time we visit, the experience with food and the atmosphere of the restaurant is always so pleasant and amazing. To describe the staff, each member of staff are very helpful, always delightful in guiding their customers to their tables or when ordering. They never show any sort of irritation or frustration and always keep a positive smile on their faces when serving each and every customer they meet.

The atmosphere as mentioned, is always very pleasant and the experience of ordering and eating from Toby Calvary is something which every customer must try at least once. Lastly the food, despite the menu card doesn’t offer many options and sometimes when ordering certain dishes off the menu card. These dishes may not always be available, creating a sense of limitation with options on menu.

There’s still the famous Calvary for anyone to try. The iconic Calvary buffet is a must try and provides a wide range of gravies, meat and side dishes with Yorkshire pudding to choose from. Along with this, a wide selection of drinks are available to choose from.

Overall a good restaurant.

Parking: There’s plenty of space to park during weekdays. Weekends can be a little hectic, when it comes to parking as weekends tends to be more busier than weekdays. Overall, no payment is required to park at the restaurant. As long as you are in the premises, you are welcome to park for how long you like. The parking area isn’t congested due to the area. There’s a suitable amount of space when parking between other cars also.

A lovely find near to our hotel. Immaculate restaurant, lovely barbecue smell from the grill. The manager and team made us feel very welcome and the food was delicious and plentiful. Faultless throughout.

On several occasions, we get to meet sports enthusiasts competing in darts or snooker. The atmosphere is usually quite vibrant on such occasions.

As a local resident, this welcoming pub opens its doors to all generations with a smile.

Was packed this evening when we got there just before 7, but our waiter, Melvin, apologised for the wait and throughout the evening he was a great example of what good customer service should be like. Food was ok, nothing special, but the service was outstanding, give that man a raise!!!

Prezzo Italian Restaurant Crawley

My husband and I went to prezzo for the first time yesterday for our first wedding anniversary and it was amazing, from the second we walked in, the young lady who served us unfortunately I didn't get her name, ( long hair in a plate from Czech Republic) was so polite nothing was to much trouble, the gentleman who bought our food was so polite to and service with food was on point, the food was hot, well presented we the sea bass cooked to perfection (thank you chef), well presented great value, did not disappoint see you again soon

The Raj Tandoori

I have been ordering from The Raj Tandoori for about a year now, since excellent reviews on Facebook. I now wouldn't order a takeaway from anywhere else. Wonderful food, excellent service and when today there were IT issues they went out of their way to make up for our initial disappointment. I'd certainly recommend them ?

Vegetarian options: I had vegetable Madras with mushroom rice and chilli pander.

The service at The Greyhound is exceptionally OUTSTANDING - very friendly, courteous and a very personal and individual service with very good recommendations. Prices are excellent. The food is more than great - we've never had such delicious Indian food before!! Thank you very much, we will definitely be back!

We were staying at the hotel before a flight from Gatwick the following day, so got dinner in the restaurant. Service was great, really friendly lady on evening of 10/09 I'm so sorry I don't know her name! Food was also delicious, really well presented and generous portions. I had carbonara and it was lovely, really authentic! If we lived in the area we would absolutely come here for a meal without staying in the hotel. We also got breakfast here, its definitely on the expensive side... but nice food and a really good spread of items

Best burger van in the UK? excellent vibes, quick food perfect when doing that commute or ending up stuck at three bridges for rail replacement. Ignore the low reviews tht expect gourmet food in ten seconds for £4 with a queue of people. This is perfect for a quick warm snack , sandwich, or post party nourishment.

A great place to go when you need to find a quick option for breakfast lunch or dinner before a flight, Pret a Manger Gatwick Airport covers all meals. They usually have a lot of options anyway but this Pret was really well stocked and had many different options. I was very happy with the prices and the quality of the food.

Had a bad mocha from moto clacket lane held onto it until I got to Pease Pottage services and went in to this costa where Georgi was more than happy to swap it out . Little bitter but better than clacket lane drive thru costa

Curious Pig in the Parlour

This is the second time we have spent a night at the curious pig and we will 100% be coming back!

The staff were so welcoming and helpful and the rooms were cosy with a very comfortable bed!
The only improvement i would suggest is that the rooms could do with a little TLC in terms of a lick of paint where there are signs of wear and tear.

We also stayed for breakfast in the morning and this was delicious! Great value for money and again, the staff were very attentive and accommodating.

I would definitely recommend staying here/recommending this pub for good food and a lovely atmosphere.

Love the food, however doesn't always arrive warm enough. Big portions and a lot of flavour. Sweet chilli chicken and chicken katsu are the best dishes in my opinion.

Ordered the combination kebab.with chips. Chicken was perfectly cooked, lovely and moist and tasted amazing. Doner meat was thin skinny strips, tasted OK, but would have been better.if the slices were thicker. Salad was nice and fresh. Chips nice and crispy. Service was quick and friendly. Little overpriced for the portion size.

Great little truckers/ transport cafe in a converted hut.
Great selection of hot and cold food, plus the typical teas coffees and other drinks.

Great service and a very well run establishment.

Parking: In a lay-by so can get quite busy at times.

From the moment we set foot into this place, I already felt so welcome! The people are honestly amazing! While we waited for our food we had a conversation with Hassan, who turned out to be dutch! Absolute great service! Honestly liked being there to get some food. And if your wondering.... YES even the food was absolutely amazing! We got a lot so I even saved some for later!

Great food , great service , only gripe…at the end of the meal as we did not finish all the delicious food , we asked if we could take it away which they of course agreed too..usually they in a high class restaurant you are paying over £100 for a large party. They would take it away and pack it for you but instead made the patrons do it. Not very becoming of a high standard restaurant. Service was not busy at all.

Giraffe

Absolutely incredible customer service. We visited early in the morning and the waiter Fabio was incredible. To be completely honest my first choice was wetherspoons but their staff there did not seem to be educated in food allergies or Wetherspoons do not seem to value them as customers. Facing it was Giraffe and I was apprehensive about eating there as I had never eaten at one before. They made us feel valued and cared about my son's allergies and even had a tablet with ingredients that trigger the allergies. Flavio was awesome he helped my 11 years son with what meals was available to him and even had time to come back during the meals to see how my son was getting on and want anything else. WELL DONE GIRAFFE, We will visit our local branch fuw to your hospitality.

Friendly staff always smiley and hard working. Never have to wait too long. Good fish and chips, never had a bad portion. Battered sausage is delicious, never had a better one from a chippy. Everything on the menu is good! They've got my loyalty.A 2 year update: they're still rock solid with great customer service and great food. They do good for the community and the locals are lucky to have this business here!

We visit a fair bit, mainly weekdays. I like to collect the rewards, the food is good, we always get a table and it’s a nice relaxed atmosphere. Jennifer often serves us with her warm friendly smile. She is always welcoming and probably has more to do with our returning than we first realise.

I have had many a Chinese takeaway all over the country and I still maintain Mister H's in Bewbush is absolutely the BEST around! The batter on the pork balls is crisp and delicious and packed full of high quality un-processed meat. No stodge in sight and delicious flavours without leaving you thirsty from all the MSG that you get with other takeaways! Bravo Mister H!

Langley Green Kebab Centre

I lived in Langley Green as a little girl but moved to the states at age 7…I am now 33 and every time I go visit family I always visit this kebab shop as they have been around for years and is soooo delicious! Doner kebab isn’t really a thing over here in the states, the closest you get to it is a gyro that that they will say is lamb but is always 95% beef and 5% lamb that tastes soo bland. I really need to know what you guys marinate your meat in so I can attempt to replicate it at home! I’ve been CRAVING some kebab specifically from this shop for a loooong time now!!! Please tell me the spice used in the marinade!!!!! ???

Very good, mcdonalds. The asda mcdonalds is always my favourite mcdonalds in crawley.❣️? Their chips are always piping hot, and they have lots of room. I am biased, but asda mcodnalds will always be my favourite. What do you expect, its mcdonalds? ?‍♂️

KFC Crawley - High Street

We have not eaten here for a while, and I can honestly say, this was a totally different experience from our last visit, the food was all freshly cooked and the biggest difference was the chips, cooked very nicely and lovely flavour.

Came to Wagamama Gatwick before our flight. Cannot fault at all.
Anta went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, as well as explaining the menu etc. amazing customer service from Anta, would definitely come back without a doubt after the lovely treatment we received.

The food was amazing I went there for breakfast and it was delicious but In all honesty the staff really carries this restaurant he was fun to talk to and he was very respectful 10/10

Afternoon Tea at Alexander House Hotel

We had a gift voucher for afternoon tea and decided that even though we only stayed here about 10 days ago, we wanted to try their Christmas themed afternoon tea. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and we were shown to a lovely table near the fireplace straight away despite being half an hour early. The room is warm and inviting with a view out onto the lawn. The menu was explained, and our order was taken quickly and delivered promptly too. The sandwiches were first rate, fresh bread with very tasty fillings and a lovely warm sausage roll. The drinks were replenished throughout our visit. The sweet treats were divine, the star being the Eggnog & Cherry Egg Custard Tart Bauble and the Chocolate and Peppermint Santas Hat, seriously, it was like Christmas in cake form, absolutely delicious! This was followed by two enormous scones each, one plain and one cherry, with oodles of clotted cream and jam, we had to take 3 home with us as by the time we got to them we were beaten. This was definitely one of the nicest afternoon teas we have had and we will definitely come again in the summer to try the non Christmas menu.

The area is a little bit in remote area , you will need to go by car ,will not be able to have alcohol if you are driving , they have very nice complimentary small bread , the food is good and services as well

We actually stopped by the store and the food, the staff was polite and friendly, and the food was ready in 7mins and I have to say myself and my wife agreed its the best chinese we have had since living in Crawley. Can't wait to try more dishes ?

West Green Fish Bar

Chips were delicious. Little bit on the expensive side but chip portions were huge! I've seen smaller large portions elsewhere. Perhaps half the portion size, charge £2 for the portion, you'd make more money and get less wastage

Popped in for a breakfast. Friendly staff, food came nice and quickly and was tasty. Wasn't a big fan of the sausages, they tasted like they had been fried in old oil, but everything else was spot on. Would recommend.

The Grasshopper

No food but you can take your own grub in from the local takeaways, bar staff very friendly, there are events in the large back room occasionally of various acts and once a month there is a karaoke by Richard Goode which is very popular.

Popped into the Charcoal burner and had the chefs signature cottage pie. Absolutely deelish and cooked to perfection. The staff as always were very polite and welcoming especially James.

Lovely place. The "queijadas" are AMAZING ? Lots of variety of Portuguese food. They have very good service and the coffee is tasty. a very clean place, I recommend
