What a lovely place. After trying 2 previous pubs which were closed, we found this one. What a gem. Will definitely be back. Lovely staff and what a friendly pub. Can be quite rare these days. Lovely food too.

10/10 service. Couldn’t do enough for us.

Absolutely terrible meal, congealed and overall cold. Staff were extremely unhelpful, and one chap, I believe the son of the owner was extremely rude when we asked for the meal to be changed. AVOID AVOID AVOID

We visited here as a last minute booking and it was amazing. Right on the edge of crawley which we had never visited before and is also great area! The pub is stunning, the food is excellent. I am a massive roast dinner fan and this is probably the best roast dinner I have ever been served. The staff were very friendly and professional. Will definitely be visiting again when in crawley!

We decided to bring our annual golf day after-party here. It was excellent. Up to 150 people came along. There were loads of extremely helpful staff keeping us fed and watered. Never had to wait for a drink. And the food was exceptional. An amazing buffet - the the best I've seen in any pub - plus a chilli and rice. And all of this food was provided free of charge by the lovely people at the Royal Oak. An exceptional night, we were incredibly well looked after and I will be having other family functions and parties here, they got it just right. The night ended with everyone dancing and singing to the DJ. Brilliant.

Come here for a quiet pint and had to try to the wings people have been raving about and boy did they not disappoint. Shouts out the new chef.

Would definitely recommend this pub to anyone, amazing food, wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. Came here for a family meal and was pleasantly surprised, catered to all our needs and was very kind and polite. The new owners are doing an amazing job!!!

I’m just going to go straight to the point this is by far the worst pub in England, the food looks, smells and tastes disgusting, the pub has a very weird lingering smell, and I’m pretty sure I saw a rat, I feel very bad for the people living there, considering they opened in January decor is very outdated and sparse and if I didn’t know any better I’d have thought they had opened last week, the menu is pretending to be fancy but is failing miserably, loud swearing while kids are around, definitely not a family pub as it’s advertised, don’t waste your time going to this pub you would be better off going to McDonald’s or KFC.

Ordered a toasted cheese and onion sandwich with chips for lunch. It was the only sandwich on the lunch menu and I really just wanted a sandwich. It arrived and it wasn't a sandwich it was a cia batta. I asked to see the menu to see if I had seen it wrong. The lady came over and I explained I don't like ciabatta and really wanted a sandwich. She went to the kitchen and came back stating that it does say sandwich but they always use ciabatta. I was offered a toastie as a sandwich. It came and was ok. A bit try as no butter had been used on the sandwich. And the cheese was not cheddar so no real taste. The waitress was very good and I was pleased they changed my meal. I will not be going back a very limited lunch menu if you just want a small bite to eat.
