Me and my friends came here for food and drinks. we ordered our drinks and food and were waiting a good 45 mins for it so i said to the waitress would it be possible to just pay for the drinks and cancel the food she said yeah that's fine. the manager then came over and said was there a problem with your food seeing as you cancelled it. i said no nothings wrong we just don't have a lot of time and would just like to pay for the drinks please. she said that's not how it works, you either pay for it and eat it here or get it in a takeaway box. we said no thanks just the drinks. she then decided to block our way out of the table and grab onto my bag and said "don't even think about running" i said i wasn't going to run but i don't want the food anymore please can we just pay for the drinks and be on our way. she said no and got a card machine and made me pay for the food which came to £60. i'm very very disappointed with the service and respect for customers, no one should be treated that way especially young teenage girls!

absolutely vile service!!! waited almost an hour for our food so we asked to cancel the food and just pay for the drinks they said that’s not a problem. they then GRAB my PERSONAL belongings off of me and lock the doors to keep us in!! do not rate your service at all

Standard TGI,s menu, Standard TGI service, food well cooked and tasty. Restaurant was COLD, as heating was broken. Overall eating experience was of a typical TGI, which has yet to disappoint.

We ordered through Just Eat at 5:45 and the food didn't arrive til 7:30, food was cold and we were missing part of our order so I called them up and told the manager and he apologised and said they'd been having issues with Just Eat all evening through lack of drivers and them taking so long, at this point I thought he was going to tell me to log a complaint through Just Eat as that's usually what the restaurant will say in this situation but he said if I can get down to the restaurant in 25 mins he will re cook our entire order which I absolutely didn't expect, so we got down to the restaurant and he had 3 bags waiting for us, one contained our original order all fully re cooked and 2 bags of extras like more fries, chicken strips and chocolate brownies.Michael, the manager of TGIs in Crawley went above and beyond for us and we couldn't be more thankful plus he was a genuinely lovely guy who felt terrible about our experience with Just Eat but he has completely made amends and turned a frustration situation into a pleasant one so thank you Michael you are a legend.

Awful service and over an hour for food to arrive. Food okay but allow at least 2 hrs to eat. Waiter did discount our bill so at least theprice was reasonable.

Haven't eaten here in many years.Went there as a family group of 9. Upon arrival we were told our table was not ready because the previous guests had overrun and they had been told the table was needed. They made no effort to get out the way and we had to wait over 20 minutes beyond our booking time.This wasn't TGI's fault really but they have us all a free drink which was very generous and completely sorted the problem for us.During this, one of the staff....I think his name was Craig I think....apparently this is his second job...but he certainly gave it all....he did a load of magic tricks for the kids and they loved it.The other guy attending to us was also very good and kept apologising for the wait.Eventually sat down and the service was generally good but we did find ourselves waiting a little bit for more drinks etc but nothing too bad.The food was very good and was about on par with what I remembered and what I would expect.At the end...Craig (apologies if that's not his name!) cane to see us on his way finishing his shift (about 40 mins late I think!) To make sure we were all ok. A fun time had by all.

My worst culinary experience in recent years. The environment was cold in every sense of the word, the heating system was out of order, and the staff were bit unfriendly. The food that was chosen was just about edible and was considerably over priced. Although it was not busy, the service was very slow. We wanted to leave but tried to be polite, unfortunately the food we had eaten was not digested properly and we both had a slight discomfort. After complaining to the office we were fully refunded. I would not return even if there was an offer of a free meal.

I was greeting by the smiley connie, she was very welcoming and was kind enough to let me and my friend sit at the bar. My food was ordered promptly and the 2-4-1 cocktails that she made were amazing (june bug and tropical monster) i’ve never felt so welcomed at tgis before, i will definitely be coming back for some more cocktails. Thanks Connie and the team!

We were greeted by a lovely lady called Mia who took us to our table and served us throughout the night. She sat us away from the door as she warned us about there being no heating at the moment. Despite this, the service she gave was absolutely amazing and was constantly getting us more drinks throughout our evening. Definitely coming back!

Food was good. The was no proper heating so we stay with our coats on the whole time service was slow. Food was not cheap and some of the portions were small such as the ribs and the cheese

Very festive atmosphere. We had amazing service from Mia M! The food and drinks were great too, especially the cherry cocktail

Upon entering we were immediately informed the heating wasn’t working and advised to sit next to the one 3kw heater they were using to heat the entire restaurant, but it was still so cold we had to keep our coats on. It was a birthday treat and I had received notification on my app that up to 5 people would receive a free cocktail as long as they ordered a main meal but was only given one cocktail and was informed that the manager said only I would receive the one free cocktail. I went back on my app and showed the waitress that up to 5 people would receive a birthday cocktail so along came another cocktail. Then to add insult to injury, the ribs I ordered were stone cold as was the burger my friend ordered and when asked if everything was ok by the waitress we informed her the meat was cold and she replied ‘oh’ and walked off. Never have I been so disappointed and will not be returning.

Had a great experience 3 days in a row at TGIs Crawley! Lucy, Michael, and Tom were really accommodating to my food allergy and made me feel welcome. Great food and great vibes too!

We booked in advance and walked into the reception area. The Christmas tree should have been an indication… Sad and with no lights.We waited at the “welcome” desk for 5 minutes and no-one bothered to come and check us despite staff walking past.We walked into the restaurant and waited inside the door for a further 4 minutes. Staff looked at us but didn’t bother to come over or acknowledge us. We counted six all nattering at the back.Avoid!
