I used to avoid this cafe as I found it dirty, noisy and claustrophobic. However it has recently had a makeover and I like it much more now. It is much cleaner and doesn’t seem as noisy or crammed. New manager (I think) is very cheerful, friendly and efficient. What would make it even better is if the other staff were friendlier too. Not important to some customers but it goes a long way for me to receive a smile with my order!

It has recently been decorated as it needed it! Looks great, however service is so terrible, slow, they dont listen properly to orders, its like they have no idea what you're asking for even though they've been working there for a while. An example today, coffee machine broken was broken and being repaired, that was fine, so i had a cold drink, she then asks the lady behind "Hi can I get you coffee today?" Lady said yes please can I have...." she then says " no sorry we can't, we can't do coffee at the moment, the machine is not working"... Its such a weird experience.... don't go if you're in a rush!

Worst Costa I've ever been in. Ordered a hot chocolate, asked both ladies if they could call me up when it was ready as I had luggage. 20 minutes went by, nothing. Went up to the counter and the man making drinks was friendly and apologetic, obviously hadn't been told to even make my drink. Both ladies at the till were useless and unfriendly and just about gave me a refund. It all seemed to be a mess and I was very unimpressed.

Whoever the owners are, left their two employees, one on their first day it seemed and the other a very kind girl who was doing everything as well as dealing with customer complaints. Her name is Yasho, she was incredible and so apologetic, she tried to resolve every situation but unfortunately being on her own that was absolutely impossible. As for the other girl she was very polite and apologised for the delay on the till but she should not be put on till without proper supervision or training. I work at Starbucks and I thought the service was absolutely disgraceful. The two owners then came out and started helping as if nothing happened and there weren’t a queue of unhappy customers. This costa is horrific and I will never go here again. Also THEY TAKE MISTAKES OUT OF THE EMPLOYEES PAYCHECK. Maybe if you actually were present on shift to help these two lovely girls there would be any mistakes.

Worst Costa I've ever visited. Awful. Staff didn't have a clue. One poor older staff member seemed like she carried the rest and looked totally fed up. Cold coffee, drinks mixed up , wrong food. A comedy of errors. Won't bother again, especially with so many independent coffee shops to choose from..
No paper or soap: Dirty toilets: told by batista in charge there was no fresh soap/paper replacement in the building: What do the staff use to clean their hands? Potential hub for spreading diseases? Long queue: tetchy staff: poorly served drinks - NEEDS IMPROVEMENT!

You can never go wrong with a Costa coffee and these guys are proof of that, staff are great especially bridgette , never had a long wait in here and everyone is always quick and polite.
