Dunning's Rd, East GrinsteadMet a friend for lunch at Old Dunnings and what a find it turned out to be.Great service and food with a friendly atmosphere. We both chose from the daily special menu and both meals were nicely cooked and presented.Big call out to Toulha our server and Lisa the manager who was very helpful with information.Will definitely be returning.

Rocca Mediterranean Kitchen & Cocktail Bar
42 High St, East GrinsteadOur first time visiting Rocca after raving reviews from friends. The restaurant is in the most historic part of EG situated in one of the oldest buildings. The inside is atmospheric and staff are attentive and very welcoming. The cocktail menu is on another level with so many to chose from. Under £10 for a cocktail and the quantity and strength of them is generous.The main meal of the mix grill is probably the best meal I have eaten in any restaurant in EG. The portion was immense and the quality of meats on the plate was first class. My other half had the swordfish and again the portion size was very generous. It was cooked to perfection and very tasty.We could not sample the desserts as the main meal was so filling.We will be back to Rocca for another visit and bring our friends and family.Thank you to management and staff at this must go to restaurant in our hometown.

Shop 2, Old Stone Link, Ship St, East GrinsteadWent with my 3 year old for Mother's Day afternoon tea. Lovely quality and really nice how they personalised it to suit my 3 year old son. They provided dinosaur shaped sandwiches and sweeties much to his delight. All at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

I had butternut squash soup to start and sweet potato roulade as a main. Both were excellent. The high-backed booth seating has a nice cosy feel, the ambiance was relaxing.Vegetarian options: Although menu is small the vegetarian options were very good.

The landlord is delightful, a very friendly and helpful chap, makes you feel really welcome - has a nice choice of ales. Highly recommend, if you find yourself in East Grinstead for any reason!

Very friendly staff and I had a good cappuccino which I thought was reasonably priced. 61 High St, East GrinsteadI discovered this restaurant through JustEat as we wanted to try a different curry place for a change. Both dishes we ordered had flavour and tasted amazing. The chicken pieces were tender and cooked to perfection.The delivery was on time, food was warm and driver friendly.If I absolutely have to pick one negative thing then it will be the small size of the poppadoms as the were a bit on the small size for the same price as most other places.I would strongly recommend this Indian restaurant!

Food was very good.. traditional and authentic, but also a good bar for a group of us staying at the hotel next door, whose bar wasn't open so early in the season. Stayed open till midnight for us.

We would recommend the Crispy Shredded Beef, Lemon Chicked, Kung Pow Chicken and the Vermencheli Noodles.Will 100% be returning and recommending to friends and family I'm the area!The only reason for marking down is that when ordering it was very rushed and ended up with extra items. The Spring rolls were very good but will ask the guy yo slow down just a tad when reading our order back :)Thank you for a great meal and will prder again in the very near future.

Food was delicious.Ordered Set meal B for three people, which was more than enough for 4 hungry people and left overs for lunch tomorrow.We eat the meal backwards!, starting with the main course dishes , then the Aromatic Duck, then the Mixed Appetisers, that way you don't fill yourself up on the appetisers!

Patatas Bravas different to others i have had but still good.. star of the show for me were the beef meat balls. Would definitely come back.. great for a family get together or reunion and at a reasonable cost. Parking opposite at a local carpark, was free after 6pm

9-11 West St, East GrinsteadThe very best fish and chips I have ever eaten in the car! The cod was really flaky and tasty and the batter was super crisp. I tried out the homemade tartar sauce, well worth the visit. Next time I'm visiting East Grinstead I'll be back for more.

Most of all the staff are always cheerful and approachable. It's a real shame these places are disappearing.Parking is tricky. The bays outside have a 1hr limit and if you get a space it's your lucky day. There is an industrial park around the back if you are willing to walk.

Was sad that it was quite late and had left a scathing review when we thought it had just been left. 20mins later we had someone come to the door with a bottle of wine and the most amazing quality food with them. Very much appreciated and wish we could change our review on Just-Eat but cannot. Ideally we wish it wasn't late in the first place but I appreciate that errors can occur. Thanks again for the delicious food.
