A group of 11 people for a lunchtime meal. Starters and Mains. Needed to pre order, but this was fine, happy to do so. Food was hot and delicious. Most of us didn't need a dessert, but there were options available. Thank you to Alison and her staff.

Lovely, friendly atmosphere in a beautiful attractive bar , and a warm welcome from the pub dog Monty who greeted us as we came in. Our roast dinner was excellent, freshly prepared and delicious. We definitely will be going back for more.

Our first visit as a family with friends and ate diner. The food was homemade and delicious! The owners are friendly and welcoming. Overall it was a great experience and we shall definitely return. Oh, and two open fires give the pub a wonderful homely feel.

Stopped here on the way back from Haywards Heath just for a quick drink. Decided to stay for something to eat. So glad we did! Food superb! Meatballs in tomato sauce with fried potatoes. Delicious! Moules were the best ever! Obvious everything is freshly prepared and wonderfully presented. Thank you so much . Aaron and Penny

Monty the dog was a novel ingredient to our visit and not a problem for us - yes he does give you a good welcome and bring his ball a couple times, but then lays down and leaves you alone.
