Hassocks Fish and Chips
25 Keymer Rd, HassocksReally top notch, better than most gastro pubs always fresh, always crisp and great service. They clearly take pride in the food they serve, recently moved from hassocks and miss this fish and chips. Not all fish bars are created equal.

Old London Rd, Sayers Common, HassocksWe visited here before a house viewing we had in Sayers Common, we met Alison the owner who was so welcoming from the start. She stood with us for 25 minutes giving us insight into the local area and where would be good to live. To be honest I think she made our decision to put an offer down on the house we viewed a lot easier. I can't wait to visit in a few months time once we move in. Also, they are 1 of 2 pubs in Sussex to serve Hawkstone lager!

33 Keymer Rd, HassocksGenuinely good quality, tasty food, pizzas and kebabs both excellent. Staff are friendly.
Only point against is that the prices are pretty high compared to other high street kebab places in the area so be warned!

The Glass House Restaurant
Wickwoods, Shaves Wood Ln, Albourne, HassocksVery good. Beautiful place to eat. The afternoon tea was lovely and had far to much to eat and needed a 'doggybag'.However on a Sunday roast was a bit disappointed as was asked how we liked the beef and we said rare, it came out well done. Bit pointless asking.Would still recommend though.

117 High St, Hurstpierpoint, HassocksWhat an amazing place. We come most days for Bob's soup with a roll or for a sandwich - or both!. All of the food is delicious and everyone who works here is lovely. Great selection of cheese, arancini, frozen home made meals, quiche etc too!

99 High St, Hurstpierpoint, HassocksA good cup of tea solves a lot of problems and I got a lovely pot of tea here, served with hot milk on the side because it's winter at present. Also they had nice relaxing, soothing music playing which wasn't intrusive and loud like in so many cafes.

19 The Crescent, Keymer, HassocksAt Lantern Cottage you receive a warm welcome, lovely spacious and comfortable rooms, and a hearty breakfast. The location is beautiful, and it is peaceful. Beautiful friendly cats will keep you company if you wish.

London Rd, HassocksCalled in for a last minute early dinner and was seated very quickly in a lively setting within the restaurant, Phoebe our server is a credit ti this pub chain and the food was good value, nicely cooked and arrived quickly.

The New Inn
76 High St, Hurstpierpoint, HassocksFirst visit. Took my son on his 16th birthday. Had a great time. Very good pub grub (some of it with a nice twist, as chef is Portuguese) and a really friendly and warm welcome. Beer very well kept too. Will definitely come back.

55, 57a High St, Hurstpierpoint, HassocksI think this is the best chippie I've ever used. Discovered when living in Hurst temporarily a few years ago, but still drive here from Wivelsfield when wanting a fix. Not sure what they do to the spuds but the chips are top drawer.

103 High St, Hurstpierpoint, HassocksBeen twice, I always collect as I like my food piping hot. On both occasions the food was exceptional with great service also. By great service i mean easy to order and ready to collect and staff friendly even though they were very busy. Will definitely be back.

11A Kensington Gardens, Brighton and Hove, BrightonGot sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice. Tasted amazing. My friend got crispy chicken with egg fried rice. We both enjoyed it, portion sizes were good. Amazing discounts, 50% off because the restaurant was empty. Lovely service aswell.
