Very good value for money, I stay in ditchling often and always go there. Mick willson (AkA ex 90s gladiator Cobra)for what ever that's worth lol mmm I know my grub.

117 High St, Hurstpierpoint, HassocksWhat an amazing place. We come most days for Bob's soup with a roll or for a sandwich - or both!. All of the food is delicious and everyone who works here is lovely. Great selection of cheese, arancini, frozen home made meals, quiche etc too!

Old London Rd, Sayers Common, HassocksWe visited here before a house viewing we had in Sayers Common, we met Alison the owner who was so welcoming from the start. She stood with us for 25 minutes giving us insight into the local area and where would be good to live. To be honest I think she made our decision to put an offer down on the house we viewed a lot easier. I can't wait to visit in a few months time once we move in. Also, they are 1 of 2 pubs in Sussex to serve Hawkstone lager!

Lantern Cottage Bed & Breakfast
19 The Crescent, Keymer, HassocksAt Lantern Cottage you receive a warm welcome, lovely spacious and comfortable rooms, and a hearty breakfast. The location is beautiful, and it is peaceful. Beautiful friendly cats will keep you company if you wish.

33 Keymer Rd, HassocksGenuinely good quality, tasty food, pizzas and kebabs both excellent. Staff are friendly.
Only point against is that the prices are pretty high compared to other high street kebab places in the area so be warned!

Cafe Murano
99 High St, Hurstpierpoint, HassocksA good cup of tea solves a lot of problems and I got a lovely pot of tea here, served with hot milk on the side because it's winter at present. Also they had nice relaxing, soothing music playing which wasn't intrusive and loud like in so many cafes.

The Glass House Restaurant
Wickwoods, Shaves Wood Ln, Albourne, HassocksVery good. Beautiful place to eat. The afternoon tea was lovely and had far to much to eat and needed a 'doggybag'.However on a Sunday roast was a bit disappointed as was asked how we liked the beef and we said rare, it came out well done. Bit pointless asking.Would still recommend though.

1 Avis Rd, NewhavenWe like Chinese food but have been disappointed with takeaway's locally so were pleased to find Chen's delivered to our area. We have used them a number of times and have been impressed with the extensive menu, speed of delivery, that you can order and pay on line and last but not least the food itself which has always arrived hot, well presented and tasty which we cannot fault to be honest. Recommended.

I loved that there are photos of all the dishes on the menu and on the board. we have a very high standard when it comes to food as a family and we really enjoyed the meals that we ordered.
