Came here for Sunday Dinner on Easter Sunday, have been to the Red lion on and off for years, but this was the first visit for a good 3-4 years.Inside has been decorated since my last visit and looked very comfy and inviting.Friendly staff, good food and at a reasonable price, would definitely recommend the Red Lion if you haven’t been and I look forward to returning again soon.

Kindly welcomed on arrival by staff.We originally just popped in for a drink, the barman was friendly and happy to offer me samples of Rose wine to appease my taste (his first recommendation was the best)The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable.We decided to take a look at the menu as we were sitting near the kitchen doors, the passing food heading out to diners was too tempting!The sticky chicken was an absolute winner, the onion rings are obviously freshly homemade and the chips, really thick and chunky.Our server Charlotte was attentive and polite. Nothing was too much to ask.We ended up staying most of the evening and we’ll definitely be back soon.

My son booked here for Mother’s Day and OMG what an amazing meal out, the manager was amazing my 26 year old son got asked for ID which we found absolutely hilarious BUT well done to the Manager who stood by his staff decision. Loved the meal and loved the atmosphere. Thank you guys we will be back ??Parking: Don’t forget to input your vehicle registration number in at the desk ?

Had a lovely lunch today. Was visiting Nyman’s gardens a short walk away, their main restaurant was closed so we went to the Red Lion and was very impressed. Food excellent and lovely decor inside, the manager who was running the restaurant today was very friendly. Will definitely go again and will book in advance next time, as even though it was a Wednesday lunchtime it was getting very busy as we left.
