Discovered almost by accident but so glad we found it! Squeezed us in for Sunday lunch, a vegetable curry for one of us and fish and chips for me. Clearly home cooked, good portions and sensible prices. Cosy fire to sit near, and nice view from the outside seating. Welcoming and efficient service. Was very busy but didn’t feel packed, easy to park.

What an absolute pleasure to pop into a real proper country pub, a warm welcome awaits from Sophie and Nikki ❤️ (the dream team) and a lovely fire ? from the well tended log burner. Sadly the Guinness lorry had broken down so had to try the ale to wash down a really tasty tapas lunch, ? ? ? ? ?️ Will definitely be back, lots of other dishes on the menu to try and love the easy going atmosphere here, great place to chill out.

Absolutely fantastic. We could not have been made to feel more welcome on what was probably their busiest weekend of the year, the London to Brighton veteran car run. We were offered a cancellation for lunch on the Sunday following our visit on the Saturday. The village was packed to the gunnells and the pub were happy and allowed access to their loos for the general public.
