Staff were lovely and very friendly but just found it very expensive with small portions. I have the roast beef which was nice but nothing special and was left hungry after, could have done with more veg, potatoes and parsnips especially for £20. I had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was lovely, but again felt overpriced for what it was. Overall felt like the portion size was a massive let down as the quality didn't match the price.

Firstly the service and welcome was brilliant. Our son who has additional needs would only eat his own packed food. When enquiring with this request Sophie said it was absolutely fine and when we arrived she made a point of asking our son what he was having. The food was excellent and I would say the chips with our Halloumi fries were the best. There were a couple of vegetarian options. The seating was spacious and being in the bar you had all the atmosphere too. Plenty of choice in wine and beer. We would highly recommend this place where nothing it seems is too much trouble. Truly excellent ?

Just had Sunday lunch but it's was tasty and freshly cooked. Staff were friendly and attentive. Has a lovely beer garden at the back of the pub if it's a nice day....
