Ordered baked potato with tuna. Takeaway. Last baked potato no garnish just plonked in a box without any salt pepper. Tuna has very little mayonnaise in it very tasteless I threw in bin after a couple of mouthfuls. Wasted money

Great bread and food and delightful staff ?

Unfortunately for many past reviews, the cafe closed in May 2023 and a refit has removed public access to that space. Sales counter and takeaway orders still function well. Occasionally crowded.

What a waste of money! The food here is disgusting. I bought a jacket potato with cheese and beans last Friday and if I had thrown the potato at someone it would probably have killed them. As hard as a rock, cheap, nasty beans and rubbery cheese. Thank god I found the gem of a place in Partridge Green …. They knock spots off of Truffles and cheaper too!!!!

Locally baked bread, cakes, savouries and fresh sandwiches.

I ordered 3 baguettes and 1 sandwich, which for a bakery is not a large order. The woman at the counter proceeded to roll her eyes and huff and puff at the audacity of our order. The man came out of the kitchen rolling his eyes because of the volume of food and the complexity of no butter in one!Whatever happened to service with a smile?!They have zero customer service skills.I would not recommend.

Nice, fresh food as you'd expect from a chain. But gosh, the staff could possibly smile and be a bit more welcoming. The male (manager?) didn't even reply to me when I said hello upon entering, but stood there staring at me whilst i was deciding what to buy- in an empty shop! I'll stick to the post house cafe from now on

Called Henfield branch this morning was told we had to wait 20 minutes before sandwiches would be ready because of the queue, lady didn’t realise we were just down The road. We drove past the shop 15 seconds later to our shock, a completely empty store. Seems like someone just couldn’t be bothered?! the 20 minute queue seemed to have disappeared entirely
