Bar • “Well kept cellar with good beer selection and plenty of spirits to keep any discerning drinker happy. The food is very good, the selection of burgers is exceptional and Thursday night being steak night it's definitely worth looking in. Although the pub has been modernised over the years it has retained a lot of character and boasts an open fire with cosy atmosphere.”
Bar • “We reserved a table here for diner as wasn't sure how busy it would be. We had delicious meals with plenty on the menu. The pub was quiet and the owners really made us feel welcome. Our boys loved the fabulous desserts.”
Bar • “A real gem in Nuthurst, not far from Horsham in West Sussex. The food is great, the service as well, we always go back and take our friends there, too. There are not many places these days where you always want to come back, but this is one of them. Thanks to the chef for tonight's venison burger which was great and so was the chicken, leek and gammon pie. And panna cotta never fails. Hophead and Thatchers, and we were sorted, lovely. Thank you.”

Bar • “Lovely old pub. One large, beamed, bar. Excellent ales, menu looked good. Nice welcoming smile from the young lady behind the bar (makes such a difference when you first enter don't you think!!).Beams are low, I'm 6ft 4 but fine for normal heights ?One large bar, log fire, tables for dining, armchairs and sofas for relaxed drinking.So relaxing my partner felt so comfortable she suggested we have another drink.A must visit if you are in the area.Parking: Smallish, but plenty of street parking.”

“Only had dinner here, but it was a delicious meal and lovely service. Would definitely visit again. Beautifully decorated and a lovely atmosphere - lots of local history and war memorabilia as the decorations.Food & drinks: Had the baked Camembert, Posh Scampi and the chickpea and sweetcorn burger.”
