Only had dinner here, but it was a delicious meal and lovely service. Would definitely visit again. Beautifully decorated and a lovely atmosphere - lots of local history and war memorabilia as the decorations.Food & drinks: Had the baked Camembert, Posh Scampi and the chickpea and sweetcorn burger.
Just had a Sunday roast, and it was the best roast dinner we have had in years. Great portions, all really tasty. The vegetarian option was different and very good. Friendly staff and pub dog. Will definitely go again. They squeezed us in today, but it's obviously popular, so probably best to book.

The place was very welcoming and warm plus the meals were fabulous. But most of all the staff went out of their way to help me when I suffered an asthma attack during lunch. I would like to say thank you to all of them , especially Abby who calmed me down when I was panicking and gasping for breath.Lovely place.
