British Restaurants in Horsham

“We hired the Garden area for a Baby Shower, they have a huge canopy/tent with plenty of seating. It was the perfect venue for our event and even better that we didn't have to worry about the weather. The staff were very polite and friendly, the owners were very welcoming and couldn't have done more for us! Was a great day and everyone said the venue/pub was perfect! The food was incredible, lots of compliments! We had buffet style food which was all name tagged and presented beautifully. Could not have faulted anything and will definitely be coming back for a lunch or dinner in the near future, thank you!”

“A real gem in Nuthurst, not far from Horsham in West Sussex. The food is great, the service as well, we always go back and take our friends there, too. There are not many places these days where you always want to come back, but this is one of them. Thanks to the chef for tonight's venison burger which was great and so was the chicken, leek and gammon pie. And panna cotta never fails. Hophead and Thatchers, and we were sorted, lovely. Thank you.”

“Lovely old pub. One large, beamed, bar. Excellent ales, menu looked good. Nice welcoming smile from the young lady behind the bar (makes such a difference when you first enter don't you think!!).Beams are low, I'm 6ft 4 but fine for normal heights ?One large bar, log fire, tables for dining, armchairs and sofas for relaxed drinking. So relaxing my partner felt so comfortable she suggested we have another drink.A must visit if you are in the area.Parking: Smallish, but plenty of street parking.”

“We are here on a Saturday evening and found the stuff to be very friendly and helpful. We are not local to the area and was staying at a Premier Inn nearby as I use a mobility scooter we didn’t know how to access the pub, so my husband went in and a stuff member came out and showed us a way in and somewhere I could leave my scooter. The meal was lovely and the kitchen happy to serve me a child size meal, I also loved the half sized dessert and hot drink options great for smaller appetites or for diabetics who still want a little treat. The meal was good value and the pub still has a pub feel and vibe to it despite it looking very busy for food too. Would recommend it to anyone staying at the nearby Premier Inn as it was a much better meal and better value than the meal we ate in there the night before.”

“What a delicious cranberry and parsnip nut roast!!! Generous portions, lovely accompanying veg. We didn't have room for pudding sadly, next time I hope. Would highly recommend to any vegetarians looking for a delicious lunch, and any meat eaters for that matter. Lovely friendly service, helpful with my sister's wheel chair. Thank you Hornbrook!”
