Stayed in this hotel as business accommodation (two nights). The staff were excellent, friendly and very accommodating. The food is also good, however the menu is small but what it lacks in diversity is made up for in the effort the chef makes with what is on offer. The room I stayed in was small, as expected for a period hotel and the bed is only a single but was comfortable enough for me. The bathroom was either brand new or very well maintained and immaculately clean. There is plenty of off road parking and the grounds are nice enough that a summer evening would be well spent there. All in all I can recommend this venue.

We met up with friends here as a convenient halfway location between us. Rooms were quirky, comfortable and well equipped. Pleasant bar and dining room, dinner and breakfast both excellent. Staff friendly and efficient. Not the cheapest around but decent value and we would happily stay again.

Our son and new daughter in law chose to have their wedding at this fabulous hotel. Food was first class and staff were so friendly and very helpful. The room we stayed in for 2 nights was just beautiful. Bed, duvet and pillows were the best we have ever slept in. We hope to come back when visiting the area.

The hotel was clean, quirky, the original features are wonderful! Food at the reception excellent too. Cannot recommend enough.

I'm only into night 2 of my 4 night stay away and already leaving a review!Your food is literally the best food that I have ever had I truly mean this! Honestly absolutely stunning food, the taste my gosh unbelievable!The chef and the whole staff absolutely amazing, friendly, welcoming even the owner lovely man! Beautifully decorated and spacious room, with airy bathroom. The staff were very friendly, cheerful and helpful. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was lovely, breakfast was also delicious. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Had an absolutely perfect stay here. Was on a solo work trip, but my stay at Random Hall was like a home from home. Such an idyllic location, very peaceful. Rooms with luxury decoration and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Bathroom was very modern and clean. Breakfast options were exactly as I like, enjoyed perfect poached eggs and smoked salmon. Hosts were polite, friendly and helpful. Lots of space to relax and plenty of parking. Local history and beautiful garden.

We recently got married at Random Hall hotel and it was everything I dreamed of and more! The venue itself is absolutely stunning, the staff are a credit to the hotel, the rooms are clean and beautifully decorated and the food served was delicious. The staff were incredible. Jackie, Laura and the rest of their team looked after us all so well. They are extremely professional, welcoming and well organised which meant the day ran very smoothly and was just perfect! This is a really exceptional wedding venue and I will never forget our special day and how well we were looked after. Thank you to the entire Random Hall team!

All the staff we encountered were wonderful: courteous, helpful, smiley and altogether a great team. Our room (14) was very clean and had the most comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was absolutely spotless with really nice complementary toiletries; and the shower was so good that we want to remove our bath at home and recreate the one we had in Room 14. We didn't eat dinner there but on both mornings had exceptional breakfasts; firstly a beautifully cooked Full English and secondly locally smoked salmon with poached eggs. The home cooked croissants were delicious too, and we didn't need to eat again all day as there was plenty to enjoy. I have already recommended a family member to take a trip to the Random Hall and enjoy the accommodation, food, garden flowers and local area soon. We will definitely visit again and send our warmest regards to hosts Richard and Jackie. Many thanks to you both for the best weekend break we've had in years.

wonderful 15th Century building - with very comfortable bedroom and great dining - with an olde world bar to boot!! and the host Richard cannot do enough to make you fell at home - it starts at the top - all the staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant and memorable experience - anyone of the guests we spoke to were all 'making a retun trip' we will definitley be back - a real experience of Sussex hospitality.

Everyone commented on the hotel being the perfect venue and the staff went above and beyond to plan our perfect day and to ensure it went to plan on the day too. Not bad, a bit noisy and no aircon but then it's really old! One thing we really disliked is the fact that the full English doesn't come with toast, since when! So you have to leave your breakfast getting cold while you wait for the toast to brown. Really stupid.

Stayed here for a business trip. Staying again next week. Great hosts and great food. Very helpful, showing me where to go for walks/runs. Lovely area and grounds. Food is typically British fine dining. 10/10. Breakfast was a highlight for me. Salmon and eggs. The staff waiting on are a credit to the place.
