Stayed in this hotel as business accommodation (two nights). The staff were excellent, friendly and very accommodating. The food is also good, however the menu is small but what it lacks in diversity is made up for in the effort the chef makes with what is on offer. The room I stayed in was small, as expected for a period hotel and the bed is only a single but was comfortable enough for me. We met up with friends here as a convenient halfway location between us. Rooms were quirky, comfortable and well equipped. Pleasant bar and dining room, dinner and breakfast both excellent. Staff friendly and efficient. Not the cheapest around but decent value and we would happily stay again.

Our son and new daughter in law chose to have their wedding at this fabulous hotel. Food was first class and staff were so friendly and very helpful. The room we stayed in for 2 nights was just beautiful. Bed, duvet and pillows were the best we have ever slept in. We hope to come back when visiting the area.
