Empty restaurant should have walked past! Not overly expensive but poor quality ingredients. Not like it used to be.

It’s an “old school” cafe at best.Food was okay, service wasn’t exactly with a smile and the place was very quiet and little atmosphere! Some decor improvements, music and at least a smile when being served would not go a miss!

Very low quality food, tasted all like cardboard. High price for smart-price / value range like food. It’s unfortunate as this place has no much potential. I used to come with when I was a child about with my Dad and it always used to be packed, I thought it was a red flag when I walked in and it was empty.

Perfect! Perfect!! Perfect!!! For a full English breakfast, the place to go to, when in the area ?

Welcoming, good basic menu for a reasonable price.

Should be called Ropey Cafe! Terrible food! had a breakfast here and it was inedible even the tea was horrible! This man cannot cook and should find himself another profession! Should have known better when it was empty on a Friday morning!I will definitely not be returning ever again!

If it’s a greasy spoon you’re looking for?… congrats! You have arrived.Greasy.I felt it was a bit pricey too be honest. This plate here was over a tenner. I know this because I had to go to the cash machine because they don’t do card payments. After withdrawing a tenner, I realised I had to try again and get another tenner out!The staff were ‘ok’… the guy didn’t have much time for me when I was dithering how to make my choice under a tenner. It didn’t work, and the bill rang in at £11.60 or summin’ like that. The sausages weren’t quality. Nor was any of it tbf.The mushrooms were saturated with grease and the bread was probably a 49p loaf of white nothingness. My tummy hurts a little bit even an hour or so later. My advice would be to care more.

Great friendly staff with a good selection of food and drink. Would recommend it.

I've come for breakfast here on and off now for 20 years and will hopefully keep coming here for another 20 years!! Always get a friendly welcome,it's reasonable priced and a varied menu to cater for most!
