We hired out the function room at the Star for our son’s 1st birthday party on a Saturday afternoon and it was fantastic. Aaron and Sarah (the landlords) went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for it to run smoothly, from letting us come in early to set up, moving tables around, to lending me things I’d forgotten. This is a great pub for live entertainment. Excellent service. The staff really go out of their way to please. There's live comedy every first Saturday of the month. Great headliners from the London circuit including Bobby Davro, Terry Alderton all with great supporting acts. I would thoroughly recommend this for a great night out. Please note there is no food served here. But everything else more than makes up for this.

What a great family atmosphere, had my 50th Birthday Party Celebration at the Star, the staff were amazing and very accommodating, with nothing being too much trouble. Thanks again for making it a night to remember.
