I'd forgotten this was here, but my friend suggested it and we weren't disappointed! delicious, 'proper' pizzas, lovely staff and very busy for a thursday afternoon in the country. Would thoroughly recommend.

Had a pleasant afternoon at their tea room, with a group of friends and relatives. It was ideal, as some wanted only coffee and snacks, some wanted a beer and some a meal. The staff are charming and the service quick and efficient. Order at the bar once you have found a table. We choose to sit outside at one of the many tables. The pub is dog friendly, which is a bonus. There is ample parking available in their car park. It’s worth noting that pizzas are only available Wednesday to Saturday. However the sandwiches were nice and we will return another day to try the pizza.

Had a wonderful time with the family and whilst not being there the whole afternoon to enjoy the entertainment, we did manage to hear some of the music - which was super. Staff very friendly. Didn’t know this place existed! Great having a lovely big garden.

Nice relaxed pub with good atmosphere. Good quality beers on cask, I had Surrey Hills ranmore which was in great condition. Beer garden for when the weather is good. Frogs everywhere!

Fab-u-lous food, quick, well cooked & decorative. Plus the young lady, with long lightish coloured hair, was truly amazing. Polite, helpful, kind & totally professional

Great place. The pizzas are awesome and the service by the super friendly staff is excellent. They let themselves down however by a very limited choice of beers. There are so many awesome breweries nearby, Firebird, Brolly, Dorking etc etc.Why is it they only have Surrey HillsBrewery Ranmore on. Not a bad beer, but not as good as the beers from nearby Firebird and Brolly. Most of the nearby breweries supply beers in both Keg and Cask.

People say hidden gem, this place is definitely a gem hidden down a country lane. You will get beautiful surroundings and service with a smile ?

The place has moved on somewhat. Used to call in here (probably nearer 30 years ago) when it was just one small bar (still there) with very limited space inside and a vast beer garden outside. It used be very much the pub that looked and felt like someone's house that was able to serve drinks. Roll forward to the present day and its a fully fledged pub with all the facilities you'd expect. Small but nice choice of real ales, interesting dinner menu but relies heavily on Pizzas. Having said that food was very good and plentiful. Harvey's bitter kept very well. Lovely evening spent there. Recommended.

UPDATE- Visited for lunch today and sat with a view of the fields. This place has so much potential.£10.50 for a jacket spud with tuna! WOW this is the most expensive jacket I've had!Called up to check what menu they were serving as there is tea room menu and pizza menu to be told its the tea room menu and that this changes daily.Come on management, this needs sorting out.All in all had a pleasant lunch.Visited here today for lunch. It is a charming old country pub with no frills. The garden is large with benches and unbrellas. Take a menu grab a table and order at the bar. Inside is very small but cute and it's a tea room and pub.We had a panini which was £8.10 with a small garnish and few crisps. Not cheap by all means but very nice.Service was friendly and super quick.

Booked an afternoon tea on your website, for afternoon tea to not be available on Sundays?Booked a table for 12pm, the table behind booked for 12:30 were served before us. We ordered 3 cream teas instead, 40 minutes later still no scones, had to find staff and ask. To be told our ticket was missed although we had our drinks. We were asked to wait 5 minutes and we will have our scones. 15 minutes went by. I decided to go to the bar to tell them to forget about it. Unhappy and concerned to be honest, would not recommend to anyone, will not be returning.

Nice place with lots of character and large area to sit outside.Unfortunately we didn't think the food was great. Jacket potato was dry and Sandwich was rediculously overloaded although it was tasty.
