Lovely as usual. Had to wait a bit longer as only 1 chef in but the staff kept letting us know how things were going.

Unfortunately we felt on this occasion the food really was not up to the usual standard - whitebait over cooked - chips not their usual crispy delicious standard - but everyone has an off day and we said it would not deter us from returning HOWEVER we found out as we were leaving that after 14 years of trading the Orchard is due to close at the end of September ? So sad as , as a family some who are no longer with us it was always are “go to” place for a good quality home cooked meal . So what ever the owners plans are for the future we wish them good luck ?

What amazing service and attention to detail!! Being coeliac and requesting gluten free food, the manager checked all ingredients on the different pickles and sauces to make sure the food was safe. Absolutely brilliant, thank you!! The meals were great and very copious.

Toby and gang had a super full english breakfast at The Orchard (outside in the actual orchard!) today. Everything was excellent as usual and Sarah greeted us like old friends, with attentive service from other staff too. The vegetarian option was superb and the staff dealt with our complicated order like the true professionals they are. Thank you! See you again soon!

Food was good and reasonably priced. I would suggest that the desserts could be bigger size wise.

We were in the area, gasping for a cuppa, and found The Orchard on Google Maps. What an absolutely lovely place! Could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Delicious cakes and a perfect cuppa! Will definitely return for a full meal soon! Thank you ☺️

Popped in for an afternoon coffee and cake. A few other customers present, very strange atmosphere, felt flat and subdued. Staff didn't smile or make small talk, odd style of interaction and poor interpersonal skills. I wonder why they bother ?! Cake was OK, on the dry side. Really strange ambience, felt like I was in a nursing home, all a bit depressing to be honest.

Pretty little garden to rear with plenty of shaded tables. Ample parking. Fantastic walk/ bike ride pathway behind (East Grinstead old railway). Recommended the homemade coffee and walnut cake - wow! Bought more to take home for later!
Had a lovely lunch here, good home cooked food and lots of it. As always a warm and friendly welcome. Definitely worth a visit.

Freindly owner and staff. Clean environment, well spaced tables and chairs. Lovely outside area with shade and bicycle stands. Great stop off if you're riding the Down's Way or passing by road. We only had a takeaway sausage sandwich and hot chocolate. The kind owner allowed us to park here with a purchase from her restaurant. Official parking for West Grinstead Station is on Kennal Rd but the station only has a small car park with hight restriction barrier. Great sandwich btw ??

One of my late Mum & Stepdads favourite spots to go for a meal. Very good quality freshly cooked food.
