A few years ago, this place was far better than any other local Chinese takeaway. It used to be the best for miles!Sadly, our most recent order was disappointing. Chow mein was still excellent but rest of the food was bland and gloopy, no better than any other Chinese takeaway. Lots of pointless plastic containers where they used to have cardboard boxes. Very overpriced. On the positive side, it was delivered quickly. What happened LOE? New management or chef perhaps? Sorry, I don’t think we will order from here again. Such a shame.

We ordered a meal for five of us at dinner time. The food was very good and the service was fast. Portions were large so we had lots left over.

SCAM WARNING! If you use their app you will get random payments. They will refuse to refund you and just tell you it's not their problem and to talk to your bank. Absolutely avoid at all costs

Great takeaway as usual from here! Delicious and nice touch with the free spring rolls. Thank you so much. You never disappoint! ?

Tonight, i had a takeaway from here, and it was the worst meal i have had in a while. It was tasteless, chewy and hard, with no sauce in either dish. I ordered deep-fried shredded beef, Cantonese chicken, and egg fried rice. It had no egg in it!! I don't and won't recommend it to anyone.

Lancing Oriental catered for a retirement party in Shoreham. Food was delivered on time,it was hot, fresh and absolutely delicious. Thank you so much. Our favourite takeaway and highly recommended.

We used to use this takeaway fairly regularly, but never again. They have done away with someone at the front desk and replaced it with a POS terminal. If you do want to speak to someone, you're rudely told that you'll have to wait until they've finished what they're doing... Absolutely shocking service, and coupled to this, they do NOT answer their phone. The prices have increased, but they have cut their costs to below acceptable... terrible business practice. Avoid like the plague!

I’m quite fussy about Chinese food and since moving to Worthing three years ago I hadn’t managed to find a good one, however Lancing Oriental Express is outstanding. I highly recommend.
Good points: arrived quick and hot. Salt and pepper chicken and Singapore noodles were lovely. Chicken balls were ok.Bad points: very expensive for poor, cheap quality.! Egg fried rice - thought I had got plain rice by mistake until I spotted the tiniest pieces of egg in it!Prawn toast was completely inedible, thick, stodgy and hard.Chicken satay was quite possibly the blandest thing I’ve ever eaten, no hint of flavour or satay.Beef in Peking sauce was not like any other Peking sauce I’ve ever had, mostly pineapple and revoltingly sweet.Sweet and sour sauce was nuclear in colour and taste. Most of our £50 dinner went in the bin. Will not be ordering from here again.

Most expensive Chinese take away ever over inflated prices!

Absolute joke ! we ordered for the first time via there app ! Can’t comment on the food because they got our address wrong even though it was correct on the order ( need to go spec savers) so we never got our food when we called them up they were rude and in un apologetic and some bloke was shouting in the background. They told us our food was waiting in there shop which is no good to us . Worst take away in lancing by far , so don’t waste your money and if you decide to take a chance well it will be 50/50 good luck .

What a shower of thieves got me to pay on the app which is as much use as my two year old and then tell me my fluid that I paid nearly £60 for was going on o be about one hour and a half! Highly unrecommended l!!

Just had a delivery from this place. Everything was overcooked, tough and virtually inedible! How any one makes prawn toast that’s too hard to chew is beyond me. We usually use Lee House in Lancing which is excellent. Closed tonight so thought we would give this place a try. Lesson learned.
