Booked the festive afternoon tea for early Birthday/Christmas celebrations. It was our first time to Perch on Lancing Beach and would definitely go back. The festive afternoon tea was great, cakes, scones, sandwiches were all great. Especially the mini crumbles. Had to take some cakes home as so much there. Staff lovely, helpful Definitely booking again next year. Oh and the Festive Hot chocolate YUM!! Thank you

Went to the Festive Afternoon Tea with a friend. It was lovely! The staff were really attentive and we were offered a hot drink as soon as we arrived at the table. We both enjoyed a tasty hot chocolate. Then the food came on a 3 tier plate stand and had a mix of sandwiches, enormous scones with butter jam and cream and a selection of cakes and mini desserts. We decided on tea with the food and this came as a pot each rather than sharing a larger pot. I drank 2 cups from my pot and it still wasn’t empty! This was a lovely experience and the food was well worthy of a high class hotel but at half the price. Loved it!

Fantastic food and views. Dog friendly. Huge fish and chips, perfectly cooked steak and eggs. Skin on fries were delicious. Definitely returning on a dog walk. Only downside is it can get busy so worth booking ahead.Parking: Large car park at Lancing beach. Pay on ringo at at machines.

Loved the vibe of this bistro/cafe right on the beach. Very dog friendly which is a plus. Service was superb. The menu was limited but portions very generous. We had the kilo if mussels which were delicious and came with both chips and bread which you need to mop up the pint of broth! Slightly off five stars only because the mussels were over cooked and too many broken shell fragments in it. However, they made up for it with the fresh cooked churros and ice cream. Cakes looked amazing and plenty of vegan options if needed.Parking: Large car park for the sea front but this may fill at very busy times.

We booked a table for our son's second birthday and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. We brought a cake for him and others to have as a dessert which was no trouble and was brought out when we asked for it with added candles! The food was just excellent as usual. Most of our party hadn't been before and they all enjoyed it thoroughly. Our server Dionne was just brilliant.

The food was good (Sunday lunch) and the service was good but it was so loud. Tables very close together and people just felt on top of each other.

Excellent experience - great food and friendly service. Great views from the side facing the sea. Best to make a reservation during school holidays.

My wife and I recently visited Lancing and Shoreham beach (for late summer vacation). During our trip to beach, we stopped and had lunch at 'The Perch' on Lancing beach. Excellent food and drinks served - thoroughly recommend you stop-by to enjoy the hospitality from 'The Perch' team and great menu choice!!

Great bacon/sausage butties on the beach for breakfast. Cakes, ice creams - fab whippy style ice creams - our favourite. Very casual, great food, good staff - very much beach style. Lovely lunches but would appreciate something a little smaller and lighter. Evenings area delights in good weather. Takeaway pizza and beer sitting on the beach............highly recommend!

Visited with friends a couple of weeks ago. Please note it is best to book a table as it gets very busy. It has a nice, busy, friendly vibe with kids, dogs & people of all ages. The menu features pub grub type food & reasonably priced wine. I had the sticky Asian salmon salad- generous portion for around 15 quid but let down by the weird chlorine taste & puddle of water in the bottom of the bowl. Other people’s meals looked nice, particularly the fish & chips.

My husband and I have been visiting Lancing for years but only just tried The Perch. This is a really lovely, friendly restaurant with a great atmosphere and helpful staff. Mark and his team (Charley, Charlotte & Dionne) were very welcoming from the moment we sat at our table and we would highly recommend the muscles! Fab food and a fab time all round ?

My friends and I stopped by at the Perch on a long beach walk from Worthing to Shoreham-By-Sea. We arrived around 2pm on a Saturday and despite the place being busy and not having a reservation, the staff did their best to get a table for us (there were 11 of us in total). All the staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was ace. I had the fish and chips which were so crispy and delicious.
