Bar • “Had a lovely lunch food was great and service very attentive and pleasant.I would definitely recommend! The only suggestion would be slightly bigger portions but that has probably more to do with the fact that when I'm in front of great seafood, no portion will ever be enough.”
Bar • “We visited the curry House opposite and popped in here for a quick drink. On opening the door, we were welcomed by a friendly crowd of locals who were listening to 2 guitarists singing and playing a Fleetwood mac song.The atmosphere, staff and beer were great, and a quick drink turned into the whole evening!”

“Great meal food fresh and plenty of it the staff are a credit to the place and the lass we had taking drinks order for our party I don’t know how she remembered all the drinks she didn’t put anything down just had a very good memory, I would give it 5 stars and come again but we came 303 miles down here on Friday for a dinner dance on the Saturday night so are just here for 3 days.”

Bar • “Lovely cooked breakfast and hot. No butter, had to ask for it. The chap who served us was totally miserable, didn't smile once and looked like he didn't want to be there. When my mother and I left , I said thank you and complements to the chef and he just glared at us.”
“Pub by the Arun- when you book a table ask for a river view- although make sure tide is in!Very welcoming, friendly and attentive staff. We bought our dog along and they provided a bowl of water for her where we were sitting. Only down side is that you can’t sit with dogs with river view.Very good menu, with lots of good options, the sort of menu where you just can’t choose as it all looks good!Harvey’s beer and London pride on tap which was good to see and we also had a lovely bottle of white wine from Languedoc.Not the greatest looking pub from outside and inside is quite basic but I would definitely go back as food and service is very good.”
