On our third visit April 2026 we arrived at 4pm (don't close till 6) but they shut at 4,got ushered out and not really apologetic, very disappointed as we live in the north. Won't bother going again ?

This is my second visit. The first time was so good I’ve been craving it for the last 5 days and couldn’t wait to return! Paninis are absolutely perfect. And the sausage bacon and egg roll was equally amazing. Great selection of breads and fillings. Next up. A jacket potato.

Batter was light and not dripping with oil and the chips actually tasted like potato. Wonderful. Thank you

Big breakfast was great, although I do prefer my fried egg to be slightly runny rather cooked solid. (Some would say overcooked)
Bacon cooked perfectly to my specification (well done/crispy).
Personally, I'm not a fan of 'food towers' I think it's a bit dated, but have to remind myself I am in Rustington not London.
Flat white was good.
Would I go back? Yes, very much so!

East Beach Cafe, The Promenade, LittlehamptonI felt compelled to write a review for a wonderful lunch I had at East Beach Cafe - the trout with a beetroot and watermelon salad. I dont eat fish or beetroot but am so glad that I took the chance today. The food was very fresh, perfectly seasoned and was of the kind of standard that one could expect at a London restaurant. Having been here before, the standard of service is always exceptional and I have signed up for one of their events. Definitely recommend if you are in the area, or worth travelling a bit further for.

8, Station Parade, Station Rd, Rustington, LittlehamptonI ordered a set menu 1 for £10.50 (which nowadays it's a very good price)
For that I got:
- egg fried rice small
- mushroom chicken in black sauce
- Hong Kong sweet and sour pork
I put half the rice on two plates and put the chicken and pork on each so not to lose the sauce, in effect enough for two people
The Hong Kong sweet and sour pork was outstanding and I don't say this lightly
Excellent quality pork, batter, pineapple, peppers and one of the best sweet and sour sauces and a good portion (heavy plastic container)
The egg fried rice was standard a 7 out of 10, nice
The chicken with mushrooms sauce was a little light as I do not have onions in it and the container was therefore a bit light
If we consider 50 pence for the bag, £1 for the 3 plastic containers, this means the pork the chicken and the rice containers are more or less £3 each which is a very good price
Worth it just for the Hong Kong pork
The service was pleasant nothing unusual and very fast
The ambience was very good as a big take away with lots of seats and good energy
I haven't been inside the kitchen to see if there are rats running around like weatherspoons in crowborough but I trust these people run a reputable establishment as my gut feels great and the food has no funny taste at all
The fish and chips shop next to it sells the cod and chips and gravy for £17 a portion, way too expensive, buy from happy house instead ?
I gave the food 4 stars only because the chicken container was not full because of no onions and the rice could had been spruced up just by adding some cheap peas or something like when the Indian takeaways make the ride coloured with spices
I will be visiting soon although even if £10.50 or £3 a tub is cheap times are hard and we all have to get by on reduced items from the supermarket

34 High St, LittlehamptonWe went here for a Sunday Roast with the family this weekend. I have to say I was seriously impressed. The quality of the roast (I had beef) was excellent. The meat was perfectly good and the veg was delicious. There was 8 of us in total and the food all arrived in a timely manner. The staff were helpful and friendly. I am hard of hearing and am happy to say I could hear my family easily. I have to say we all really enjoyed our time at the Dolphin. We will definitely go back.

Great place to have pre drinks. Food can be a bit hit and miss. This Spoons doesn't have the mixed grill or steak on the menu.

We normally chose the one in Middleton on Sea, but it’s £2 cheaper per large cod at The Wick Fryer. We are very pleased with our food, both fish and chips are crispy, curry sauce is tasty. The owner told us he hasn’t put the price up for 4 years. Definitely worth trying and traveling.

And the food was really hot and the taste was absolutely amazing. There was plenty of prawn and I asked them to add a bit of green pepper so them dit it very well.. The portion was massive. I think two people could eat them together. After a long time, I found a really good Chinese takeaway in this town. So far best Chinese takeaway. I would definitely highly recommend this place. Also staff were absolutely amazing and helpful..

We made our way back in the Town, High Street and we called in here for a refreshment and a rest. \n\nWe found a place to sit and then went to the counter to place our order, which was two flat whites. \n\nAlthough it was rather busy here, the staff worked hard to ensure that customers were served as quickly as possible, so minimising delays. \n\nOur coffees were good, the correct temperature and flavoursome, no complaints really.\n\n

15C Surrey St, LittlehamptonAfter looking at the que at the fish and chip shop at the Quay we decided to go a little bit further and found Royal Fish and chips. We ordered large cod and large chips, battered sausage and chips and two curry sauces. The portion sizes were very generous! It fed four of us! ( 2 adults 2 kids) So happy we went here, we will definitely come back again when visiting Littlehampton. Sorry no photo.

Got to be honest, didn’t know what i would get as there are a couple of chip shops around that i had been to but this was my first visit to oceans. I had lunchtime portion of sausage and chips, have to save blooming delicious chips. Freshly cooked, clean, and really really tasty! Friendly place and will be back! Wish i had bought regular portion..really lovely!

24 Surrey St, LittlehamptonExcellent value, and delicious too. The decor is quite homely and it feels like a genuine family-run Italian restaurant. Our starters (tomato soup and bruschetta) were all good. And our mains (pizza, spaghetti carbonara, and risotto) were all very good and also extremely good value: given the price of the carbonara (less than a tenner), we were expecting a relatively small portion size, but in fact it filled a large plate. The accompanying salad was nice and fresh as well. The only draught beer was Carling (I was told this slightly apologetically!), but if you want something Italian, they have bottled beers as well. All in all, a very enjoyable meal that cost us a fair bit less than we were expecting.
