Harriets is my favourite place to go, for food, coffee, cake, and just a general chat with the 10/10 staff. Would recommend going and always recommend the porridge !

We came in for lunch 15/11/23, we felt not very welcome and the lady serving was incredibly rude.We went up to order and the lady serving said can you come stand here it does say on the sign and picked the sign up in our face. They then didnt have what we wanted so i said to my friend shall we just have coffees and the lady serving threw her pen down and turned around to go do something else. Her tone was rude too.

Normally, a very good experience, but not today. I went with my daughter and granddaughter and we were not at all made to feel welcome. We were spoken to abruptly and not at all in a friendly way, and told where to sit. Then when ordering at the counter, I was told to not stand where I was standing. Then when I ordered they never had any pannie’s left. I also noticed the floor had not been swept under our table. I felt as if we were an inconvenience and not actual paying customers. Also, it was half empty and so not as if they were in a busy period.

Had the best time here with my parents - the best coffee in Rustington! Great service from Harriet and her team.

We've just moved to the area and I'm trying out every coffee shop around. So, first visit to Harriet's and the girls were friendly and made us 2 lovely flat whites. We'll be back.

I came in with my daughter for a treat lunch before she starts high school. It was so lovely, we loved the decor! Food and service was perfect too. Thank you!

The waitresses were lovelyI've had breakfast here before and no problemsHowever my company had the ceasar salad and wasn't impressed - it was mostly lettuce, didn't have much chicken, not enough cheese and "bland" unfortunately.I had the pesto gluten free toastie which although it was tasty it was tiny - I understand that GF bread can be smaller but I'm no less hungry than someone eating normal bread! So more would've been great. The chai latte had a weird syrupy consistency at the bottom which was off putting and tasted odd but perhaps I should've stirred it

Dirty glasses, hairs on the chips. Chips were inedible, floor filthy. Had to walk away. From the outside it looks so inviting.
