“Pub by the Arun- when you book a table ask for a river view- although make sure tide is in!Very welcoming, friendly and attentive staff. We bought our dog along and they provided a bowl of water for her where we were sitting. Only down side is that you can’t sit with dogs with river view.Very good menu, with lots of good options, the sort of menu where you just can’t choose as it all looks good!Harvey’s beer and London pride on tap which was good to see and we also had a lovely bottle of white wine from Languedoc.Not the greatest looking pub from outside and inside is quite basic but I would definitely go back as food and service is very good.”

“We visited the curry House opposite and popped in here for a quick drink. On opening the door, we were welcomed by a friendly crowd of locals who were listening to 2 guitarists singing and playing a Fleetwood mac song.The atmosphere, staff and beer were great, and a quick drink turned into the whole evening!”

“A great place to stay, eat, and drink.Super friendly, and accomodating, about the only complaint I have is exactly what they mention when you book which is that it is a pub and you will hear the people below you until they are all kicked out.Once they are gone, you can open the windows and hear the sea, which is super lovely.The room we had was pretty small and we struggled to find anywher to store the many cushions and pillows that adorn the bed, but there are worse problems.If I am in the area again, I would return.”

“I’m not usually one to write reviews but it has been a couple of years since I’ve been in the Dolphin. I’d heard it is now under new management so, thought I would stop by with the Mrs on our way home for a cheeky drink. Walking through the door and the change in atmosphere is immediately apparent. Staff are smart and cheerful. Drinks are decently priced with some great deals. James served us, top bloke. Super friendly and courteous. I’ll be back again soon. Thanks for a great end to a normal Tuesday. Cheers”
