Popped in for a coffee the other morning and met the owner, Roberto. Decided to give it a go on a Saturday evening. I booked, just as well as we took the last table. Very nice meal, we shared the starter and dessert and each had a main, bottle of wine, £64. Nice, friendly, easy atmosphere. Young lady called Poppy was brilliant at service, all on her own.

An impulsive visit to this delightful restaurant. Attentive service, and a really interesting menu. We had sardines to start which had been fully boned and butterflied, perfectly cooked and accompanied but a delicious garlic dressing served on the side. My companion is gluten and dairy intolerant, she had a fully loaded pizza which she raved about. I had the special pasta, the waitress asked how much chilli, and the result was perfect!

Nice establishment - no complaints whatsoever! Food was very good and service exemplary! Was also very reasonably priced.

Fantastic pizza. We were at the party in the park in east Preston yesterday. Was so pleased to see the pizza oven there. Yes we took advantage and enjoyed two vegetarian pizzas. So so lovely.

Nice location, good service. Goats cheese and garlic bread starters were delicious. However having waited an hour for main courses, we expected from the reviews great food. The pizza was just ok, a couple of other dishes also ok, but the carbonara was the bland. An entire packet of spaghetti but no sauce or seasoning except pepper. Won’t be coming back

We had read the menu on the website before booking and were pleased to find wild boar ragu and rabbit , both of which we liked. When we arrived, the menu bore no resemblance to that on the website. The only thing that sounded a little out of the ordinary was the lamb stew, so I ordered that, only to be told it wasn't available. So it came down to a rather ordinary lasagne with an unpleasant aftertaste. I could have had a lasagne at any pub for less than this. My wife had a pasta dish with mushrooms and brocoli, which she pronounced bland and lacking in mushrooms. When I asked for an apple juice, that was off as well, in fact there were no fruit juices other than orange, so I had no drink with my meal (I don't drink alcohol). So what we hoped was going to be a special meal turned out to be very plain and ordinary.

We decided on this restaurant for our mother/daughter dinner at the last minute. I called ahead to book a table and glad I did. What a decision!! The welcome was warm when we arrived and the food!!!! Bellissmo!! I had the fish of the day - tuna - and it was cooked to perfection! I hate overcooked tuna, but this was so tasty and juicy. My daughter had calamari to start and pasta for main and couldn’t get enough! While I inhaled my food she took her time to enjoy it. Then came dessert. We both went for strawberry cake.. the sponge was so light it was delightful! We both enjoyed it so much. Grazie Mille!! We will definitely be back (we may bring son & dad next time, or maybe we’ll keep it as “the girls” place!)

This little bistro restaurant keeps going from strength to strength and this lunchtime proved no different. Tasty starters, swordfish cooked perfectly and a thin and crispy based pizza to die for. Yum!

So today Blake encouraged me to buy a jar of his homemade mustard, oh my…… you have to try it, absolutely delicious, not at all hot with a slight sweetness to it, similar to French mustard but so much nicer, sausage for dinner tonight now I think and with this delicious mustard ? top marks to Blake ??

I went there last night with 7 friends, we felt very safe, lots of space between tables, hand sanitisers on all tables. The food was fresh and very good. I had the calamari and lasagne and both were great. Good choice of wine and lovely coffee. The owner was friendly and very attentive, making sure we had a great evening. We will come back, now we've found this little gem.

Visited on 17th November with my daughter and her husband who were visiting from Portugal and whom we hadn't seen for 2years. We have eaten here before and had deliveries during Covid, and have never been disappointed. The food as usual was first class and the two young girls waiting table were polite, efficient, and welcoming. Thankyou to everyone for making this special evening

Such a lovely local business. Delivered balloons for my daughters birthday as I’m at home with COVID symptoms waiting for test results. They were so kind and friendly and super helpful. Would definitely recommend ❤️

We booked Al Mare for a private dinner party with our friends. Roberto talked us through & created some great bespoke options for menus to choose from and we also arranged for pizzas to be prepared for the ‘kids’ party at home too. On the night he prepared a lovely 3 course buffet meal that catered for our friends varied tastes and dietary requirements. The restaurant was set up and decorated in a format that enabled us to stand & socialise or grab a table to sit and enjoy the fabulous food & wine on offer. We were also able to play our own Spotify playlist on the sound system. His friendly team delivered a fantastic relaxed evening for us all. All of our friends commented on how lovely it was. We would definitely do it again for parties with family or friends, as it was so easy and frees us up to enjoy ourselves without the hassle of hosting a function at home.
