We only popped in for a drink after a long soggy wet walk. We like The Seaview very much, especially the garden on a nice day. The toilets are amazing lol, you would see what I mean if you visit.

A standout experience, lovely atmosphere for drinks and meals. The patio heating by the olive tree on the patio is lovely and the rooms were comfortable.Location is perfect for walking along the beach or to get to the local pubs where we found live music on Fridays and Saturdays.A great stay all round ?Rooms: The rooms are comfortable and ensuite.Lovely relaxed feel and with amenities you'd expect to find in a hotel.There is also a family cabin available to hire.Nearby activities: A stones throw from the beach and the high street with pubs and places to eat.A lovely relaxed atmosphere, until the live music started. We got lucky as an acoustic set finished at 8pm in one bar we went across the road to find a live rock band starting at the pub until late. A great night out in an unexpected location, who needs Brighton? lol?Walkability: So close to the beach for walks, a lovely locationFood & drinks: The food here was exceptional I can highly recommend the Wagyu steak ?? absolutely superb.

We had a family gathering yesterday 21st December 2023 at the Seaview for a family passing celebration for 40 people . The venue was EXCEPTIONAL , I say that sincerely , the food they served was fresh , warm , so much we couldn't eat all they provided , incredible value. The bar staff were so friendly and smiling , I can honestly say from booking ,to menu , food, staff ,welcome, it was FAULTLESS so 10/10 , would highly recommend and definitely visit again . Thank you Seaview for a memorable day and Merry Christmas to you all.
A charming and atmospheric restaurant beautifully situated right by the sea in East Preston.The food is elegantly presented, freshly prepared, and delicious. The portions are on the smaller side, so the main course alone might not be enough.Delicious cuisine, reasonable prices, pleasant decor, professional service, and a very friendly, smiling waitress. All in all, a lot of positives.

Delicious food and wine in a lovely setting. Excellent and attentive staff. Our room was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The full English breakfast was superb - homemade hash browns and baked beans in particular; and the quality of eggs; and sausages... could go on and on! We will be back! Thanks to all the team!

A great place to stay, eat, and drink.Super friendly, and accomodating, about the only complaint I have is exactly what they mention when you book which is that it is a pub and you will hear the people below you until they are all kicked out.Once they are gone, you can open the windows and hear the sea, which is super lovely.The room we had was pretty small and we struggled to find anywher to store the many cushions and pillows that adorn the bed, but there are worse problems.If I am in the area again, I would return.
