After a very rainy day on the South Downs Way, we were so happy to arrive at the moonlight cottage. We were surprised by the amount of food (soup, cake,...) that was set out for us and it was the perfect place to get warm and dry again. Clean, warm and very cozy!

This is a fantastic place to stay. We had a really warm welcome from Bev after a very wet walk on the South Downs Way. Compimentary hot drinks and flapjack were really appreciated. The facilities were great. The place is well furnished and obviously looked after. The breakfast was superb and set us up for another (thankfully drier) day of walking. Can't recommend highly enough.

We had a fantastic stay at Moonlight Cottage. It is so convenient for the South Downs, Goodwood and Chichester. The three rooms we booked were all stunning and comfortable. Gorgeous place, highly recommend as a marvellous place for a break, quiet picturesque village yet not too far away from for all our outings. Owners couldn't have done more to make us relaxed and we will definetely book again.

3 of us stayed at Moonlight Cottage as we were walking the South Downs Way.We were really well looked after by Bev. Tea and coffee were easily accessible. Breakfast was perfect and Bev had even managed to source some gluten Free food after I had forgotten to tell her that one of our party had Coeliac.The cottage was beautifully clean with great bathrooms and comfortable beds. Everything had been thought of to make our stay very welcomingWe would love to come and stay again

We only stayed one night as we stopped on the South Downs Way which was a shame because the Cottage is amazing and perfect for a weekend getaway (or even longer). We arrived with tired legs and nearly didn't make it to the village pub as the sofa is so cozy (and the TV has Netflix et al). Everything is to the highest standard (better than some 4 star hotels!), I even took pictures of the pillow label in the morning as they were so comfy! To top it off is the delicious breakfast Bev brings you to your door in the morning, in addition to what is already in the fridge and on the shelves. It is really worth spending a bit more - will be back!

Bev could not have been more welcoming or looked after us better. Tea and coffee on arrival in the super garden area, the rooms and bathrooms were perfect, the beds very comfortable. All renovated and decorated to such a high standard. The cosy downstairs living room was great for getting together. The breakfast was amazing and we were able to buy sandwiches for our next day’s walk. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, many thanks Bev!

We really enjoyed our stay at Moonlight cottage. We were in the Bakehouse a lovely self contained place to stay with a kitchen, bedroom and lounge. All finished to a high quality, with lovely touches throughout. It's a shame the road is so close otherwise the little patio area would be lovely place to relax. The breakfast the next morning was wonderful and so much effort was made to accommodate dietary requirements (gluten and lactose) which was greatly appreciated. On the whole a clean and comfortable stay and would visit again.

The cottage has been recently renovated to a very high standard and immaculately clean - beds comfortable and towels provided was most welcome Perfect location for walkers like myself and lovely village . Parking was useful and easy to find Breakfast was lovely and catered to specific needs - all fresh , tasty and well presented Couldn’t fault the stay - owners lovely and attentive - thank you , will be back

The location is ideal for walkers and visitors to the South Downs area - right on the trail and handy location for Goodwood , the coast and local towns The rooms are so comfortable and have been lovingly restored with great attention to detail and curiosities everywhere which is a lovely detail . Bathrooms amazing , clean and appreciated the essential toiletries . Towels provided and beds super comfy Everything is the highest quality . Breakfast is amazing and fresh and tasty Bev and Faye are the most fantastic hosts and ensured all had the perfect stay The outside patio areas and garden provide lovely areas to have a drink and rest in the evening - bar available and coffees lovely Will return - thank you

We really enjoyed our night at Moonlight Cottage. We walked in and out from the South Downs Way. We received a warm welcome, everything was clean, comfortable and beautiful. Very helpful host. A lovely shower after the long walk. The breakfast was spectacular. All round an excellent choice.
