Restaurants in Midhurst
Tilly's of Midhurst
Hill House, Rumbolds Hill, MidhurstWe love Tilly’s! Although we haven’t eaten in yet, we have had many takeaway sandwiches and cakes over the last year. Our most favourite treat is the incredible and affordable takeaway afternoon tea - the savoury option is such a great idea and we always have so much left over Neil and Teresa are always so friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

Fratelli Italian Restaurant
4 West St, MidhurstAmazing food, really friendly people. You can customise your own pizza for the same price as one of the pizzas on the menu. Cheaper and better than Pizzaexpress if you ask me, definitely the best Italian food, service and restaurant I’ve ever experienced. I’d definitely recommend Fratelli’s for anyone who wants true Italian food and experience, love this restaurant

Moonlight Cottage Guest House & Cafe
Cocking, MidhurstAfter a very rainy day on the South Downs Way, we were so happy to arrive at the moonlight cottage. We were surprised by the amount of food (soup, cake,...) that was set out for us and it was the perfect place to get warm and dry again. Clean, warm and very cozy!

Cadence Cycle Club Cocking
The Old Dairy, Hilltop, Cocking, MidhurstI think we've visited 5 out of 6 of their cafés, sometimes for coffee and cake mid ride or walk, other times toasties with my 80 year old mum. This morning had their amazing porridge before starting a couple of walking on the South Downs Way. Can't recommend them highly enough. Their business model (great food and drinks, but also building a community) will hopefully guarantee they're around for many more years to come. P.S. I also absolutely love their cycling jerseys

The Country Inn
Severals Rd, Bepton, MidhurstTop coffee, locally roasted and extracted brilliantly... tough to justify stopping here as its only 10 minutes home on the bike at the end of a nice long ride... but difficult to pass without stopping.Friendly service, great little coffee shop.(Note - the old 1 and 2 star reviews are from 10/11 years ago, for the pub part which is currently closed for refurbishment - under new management - so irrelevant!)

The Half Moon
Petersfield Rd, MidhurstBeen meaning to add this review for a while.Had the most delicious, well cooked and enormous Sunday Roast here a few weeks ago.The beef was cooked to perfection and was enhanced by the huge range of gorgeous fresh vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. It was all piping hot and served by such attentive, well mannered and great young man.We really can’t recommend this Sunday roast any more highly. It’s very good value for money and a very generous portion.Chef will also cater for dietary requirements and happily provided me with gluten free alternatives.Love this place and will be back on another Sunday very soon.Well done to all the staff at The Half Moon

The Bricklayers Arms
Wool Ln, MidhurstWe had a fantastic Sunday lunch here this weekend. Good choice of meats (and a vegetarian option) with lots of veg, and they really made an effort with a dietary requirement for one of our party. The bar staff were really friendly and the dogs got lots of treats from them. We all left full and couldn’t manage any of the lovely sounding desserts.

Lime & Spice
133-135 North St, MidhurstOrdered a takeaway from here, and was it ready in good time for pick up. The food was for the most part good and the onion bhajis were excellent. My one and only issue was that the restaurant's style of Chicken Tikka Masala was not to my liking. It was very minty and fruity in taste and unlike any Tikka Masala I have ever had. I would have preferred a more traditional rendition. To be fair when we ordered the restaurant warned us that their Tikka Masala was quite different. But for my money their changes to this dish undermined what for the most part was a very good meal. By all means have that dish on the menu but in my view it was not a Tikka Masala. Perhaps a Minty Masala

Garton's Coffee House
Market Square, MidhurstPit stop for drinks after a walk around Midhurst and Cowdray Park. Situated in historic Market Square in what I think was the old jail house. Friendly staff and nice bustling ambience. Proper tea leaf tea in a pot and a tasty oatmilk hot chocolate and a great price too. Need to do lunch at some stage as menu looks good.

Faustinos Wine & Tapas Bar
2A North St, MidhurstThe service here was amazing and so friendly!! The atmosphere too is great, you really do feel like you’re walking down the alley into some kind of Mediterranean building. The raegatton music also was great atmosphere. The food is definitely tapas and slightly pinchos. They have really good deals for food too and reasonable prices. For not being in Spain, it was quite reasonable! :)Parking: I parked in North Car Park, Sundays it was free.

OceanBlue Fish And Chips Midhurst
Rumbolds Hill, MidhurstWell the missus has gone and said it, and called it the best fish and chips she's ever had. Bold statement! Sadly I had the steak and kidney pie. On the upside, what a pie!! Definitely home made, full of chunky steak and offal, and just every bite was a dream. We also had a portion of peas and curry sauce (the curry was banging!), which really topped it off. The only downside is the spam fritter was no longer on the menu, however the likelihood they were saving me from myself.

Midhurst Grill & Pizza
37 North St, MidhurstGood food. Easy to order online and collect. Sauce needs to be better. I had a lamb and chicken shish kebab with garlic mayo and chili sauce. Not much sauce and most was at the bottom soaked into the pitta.
