Frozen pizza, cold sandwiches, crisps, nachos, cake, soda, ice cream, chocolate bars, and of course wine… hardly a healthy option in sight. Would you like fruit? There’s none. Protein? You can have a sliver of salmon between bread. Fiber? Hope you packed your own psyllium husk! They really don’t cater for health. What’s shown on the menus on Google wasn’t on offer when we dined on Saturday evening. It was just pizza or nachos for a hot option. Especially difficult considering the “food truck” in front of the house served only more nachos, fried calamari, fries, a fried chicken burger, and a hot dog (with fries, duh).I got a water from the cafe. Tried a pizza, which looked alright, but never have I had such a flavorless slice (has the manufacturer not heard of oregano?).My nephew was overcome with joy and left clutching an armload of processed snacks (some kind of kids’ puff, a cheese sandwich on white bread, and a toxic looking sugar-free jelly), none of which his mother particularly wanted him to have — just no better options. Please, consider what you’re doing to the local population. It would be so nice to sit at Leonardslee and have healthy snacks (and some wine). Vegetables, fruit, lean protein.

Had a cream tea which was perfect. 2 scones, jam & proper clotted cream with an excellent pot of tea. Would definitely recommend & will definitely return. Thank youParking: Included in the entry priceWheelchair accessibility: Plenty

Great for a light lunch, a great range of sandwiches, wraps, pastries, and cakes. Food was really tasty, and more importantly, the coffee is delicious. Service was quick, and there was lots of seating available inside and outside.

Disappointing. This has gone downhill, used to be great. £7 bacon sandwich was undercooked, bacon fat still white, no - or undetectable - spread, and one half had tiny amount of bacon. Rather grumpy looking lady took our order.

Long queue and limited food choice. Upset stomach afterwards. Don't know if related.

Friendly staff, decent cappuccino and lovely hot sausage rolls. I thought it was reasonably priced.

We were going to have a small snack but were enticed by the afternoon tea which was delicious and very reasonably priced. Consisting of tea, sandwich, 2 scones with jam and cream and a huge slice of cake; the chocolate, carrot and coffee and walnut cakes are to be highly recommended. It was father's day and very busy but the staff remained friendly and efficient.

cafe is very poor, no social distancing stickers in place so people walking and queuing anywhere. no sandwiches, hot food or afternoon teas left when we arrived at 1pm on a thursday! we were expecting to have lunch so were hungry and ordered a pizza, it was completely tasteless (this coming from someone who prefers milder flavours) and criminally overpriced at £10 for a small thin margarita which we saw the employees simply heat up in a grill. major wasp problem outside and they are agressive too. cake and coffee was good and reasonably priced. overall would not come back to the cafe, would definitely recommend eating before coming or bringing your own food (they say you cant but if theyre not going to provide basic food then you have no choice!)

There is a major wasp problem outside of the Cafe. There are no social distancing stickers in place in the cafe so people were queuing side by side. There was clearing of tables but no cleaning. No sandwiches or hot food due to lack of delivery but no signage to this effect so you queued for half an hour luchtime but could only have cream teas and then when served no cream as they'd run out. The staff were trying hard but up against it. Definitely wouldn't rush back. Such a shame.

Excellent toasties and cakes but bottled drinks quite expensive. Lovely setting outside.
