We came to E Street Bar and Grill for a drink and had a look at the menu - we decided we must come back to try it and we’re so glad we did. The food was top notch - fresh ingredients cooked really well. Absolutely nothing was sub-par and service was faultless. Stand-out dish was the torched Shropshire blue cheese course. Thanks E Street, we’ll definiteky be back.

It was an absolute pleasure to call at E.Street Bar & Grill Petworth after some time away. I was welcomed by Manager Philippe and enjoyed refreshment in the nice patio garden while awaiting my wife for lunch. We received excellent service from Anthony with a superb menu of the day... our compliments to the Chef. Thank you all very much... and we look forward to our next visit.

We had a superb family lunch at E-Street with some of the nicest food we’ve had in ages. Great service from the front of house team and some excellent “support” from our new best French friends Meursault and Margaux!Stunning!

Having strolled by this restaurant on several occasions while living in the area, we initially dismissed it as just another run-of-the-mill steakhouse or pub chain. A few attempts to drop in spontaneously were thwarted by the crowd, but we finally made a reservation for a special date night, and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be.To our pleasant amazement, this place is far from your typical steakhouse and pub. It's a captivating restaurant boasting an intriguing menu and dishes prepared to absolute perfection. Their wine selection is top-notch, and the service is truly exceptional. If you, like us, have been casually passing by this gem without giving it a second thought, we wholeheartedly recommend making a reservation—you won't be disappointed. We're already planning multiple return visits in the future.

As you walk through the door a warm and friendly welcome sets the scene for your time here. The food is beautifully cooked and presented, there is an extensive wine and cocktail list and the service is fantastic, we booked again on our way out!

I visited E Street 6 months ago and it was great. Good food and very good service with a lot of staff. Great menu with an Italian theme. We were very well looked after from the minute we walked in. Visited again in September 23 and it was a different menu, less choice but the food was nice. The service was very slow and the whole place seems a lot more downmarket than on our first visit. It did t seem like there were enough staff and certainly not in the kitchen. I enjoyed my first visit but if this is what is like now it’s not worth the price and I wouldn’t return. Not recommended.

The staff here were wonderful, especially dealing with my visually impaired partner. They automatically made it all easier for him by quietly describing what was where on his plate and on the table. They were cheerful, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Oh and the food was great!

Phillipe and the team were phenomenal, the coffee machine had a problem and when I ordered affogato he went across the street to get the required espresso. Above and beyond. The rest of the food and service were great.

We lunched here on a fine day and sat out in the very pleasant courtyard. The food was of good quality and well prepared and presented (modern English), accompanied by a delightful bottle of Albarino. The service was exemplary. Overall a very civilized and enjoyable experience.

Loved the food here. Went with my wife and inlaws and were seated in an alcove with our own table, almost felt like private dining. All of us though the food was stunning, perfect portion sizes and lovely flavours. Definitely recommend.

We used to eat here when we lived in Petworth and it was always reasonably good. We revisited a couple of weeks ago with friends and were really disappointed. Three of us ordered the Wagu steak ( £40 a pop) and honestly, I am not exaggerating….. it was like chewing an old shoe! I left mine, mentioned it to the waitress who just frowned. When we got the bill, I mentioned it again and he took my steak off the bill. I think our friends were too embarrassed to complain. The starters and desserts were ok but I wouldn’t rush back after the last visit.
