We ordered a pizza and kebab. They tasted wonderful until 3 hours later. When my wife suffered from the most horrific food poisoning ever. We were up all night. I can honestly say it was the only possible thing that could have caused it.

From the outset l had reservations after reading so many negative reviews. The truth of the matter was l was too lazy to cook and they are the only people that deliver!The phone call to them was courteous,a good start.The food arrived hot within 40 minutes and was delicious. It was delivered by a young man who was very polite. So my experience with Papas was very good. Thank you.

Awful service, food was suppose to be here at 5 but didn’t arrive until 5:55. The food was just about warm and tasted disgusting. Called up for a refund and they basically laughed down the phone and accused me of lying. Said they would get their driver to pick it back up but I’d have to go else where for food. Rude, unhelpful and won’t be ordering from here again.

pre-order meal to delivery 6:15 at 27/09, shop closed due to emergency BUT no one let us know! rang them no one pick up. lucky i paid by paypal so i make the claim back from paypal.wont be back again!

Absolutely awful. Their website displays incorrect information on where they deliver. When asked why my food was 30min past its due delivery time and still hadn’t arrived the owner was incredibly rude over the phone. Food was cold by the time it got to me. I recommend going to any other takeaways in the area, it’ll save you being spoken to like dirt from the owner.

A few weeks ago I ordered at 6 it didn't come till 10pm! No sorry nothing, I've never usually had issues so thought it was a one off.Ordered this evening... 7pm now 10pm not here,to be told its next out, then it's 5 mins away still nothing.This is terrible service
Mum's ordered from here for many years but delivery has seriously gone downhill over the last few months. Ordered at 5.30 last night, got told that it would be delivered ASAP but traffic looks busy. That's fine. 7pm came and no delivery so I call them to find out what's going on. Different guy answered and came back apologising, said he'd make my order now and it'll be with me in 10 minutes. My food eventually arrived at 7.30 but one of my toppings was missing from my pizza. By this point I'd had enough and let it go, I just wanted to eat. I couldn't pick it up because I don't drive & my mother was with my Grandma in hospital. Not impressed at all as this is a regular occurance and there's never any compensation, just sorry! The only reason we still use them is because my Mum lives in a rural area that no one else delivers to.

One of the worst takeaways I've had. Waited 20mins to get service to collect an order placed on the phone. Chewy chips (some undercooked some overcooked) terrible kebab wrap (tasted burnt and chewy) and inedible pizzas.It's a shame as we used to use them regularly, but has really gone down hill.Give this place a miss and go for Marrakech in storrington - much better.

I WILL NEVER HAVE ANYTHING FROM HERE AGAIN! ?Im not quite sure what has happened, but the delivery service is diabolical. I placed an order for £35 to be delivered at 18:50, but the confirmation email stated 10 minutes late this now being 19:00hrs. At 17: 30, my order arrived to which I refused as we had guests coming around 19:00. The delivery guy wasn't happy about this, but I explained why I didn't want it that early. This is where it really got bad ?..... I rang a total of 141 times chasing the food. I rang at 19:20 but actually got through at 19:21, not bad. I was told it's on its way.I chased again at 19: 40 but eventually got through at 19:54 to be told it's on its way. I rand again at 20:12 but got through at 20:15 to here he should be with you, at this time the door bell rang.A total of 141 times I rang to chase, and it was an hour and a half late. No apology, nothing.I WILL NEVER USE THIS INCOMPETENT TAKEAWAY SERVICE AGAIN ?YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED SO READ OTHER REVIEWS.

I ordered food at 18:00 on 5th October 2023, website said 43 minutes to delivery which gave me time to get home and enjoy my dinner. Got home at 1820 and received an email saying ENJOY YOUR FOOD! But I still had no dinner, called at 1910 asking where is my order, OH YES ITS JUST BEING MADE! Still no food, then it arrives at 2010, 2 hours and 10 minutes late! This is not acceptable and the worst service ever. I have used Papa pizza a few times, food is ok but never again am I waiting over 2 hours! Disgusted and another customer lost!
